As of Dec 2013, the only vegan-friendly restaurant in and around St Polten open in the evenings. Open Tue-Thu 11:00-14:30, 17:00-22:00, Fri-Sat 11:00-22:00, Sun 12:00-21:00. Closed Mon.

Wir haben zu Mittag zu zweit ein veganes Thali bestellt, was allerdings leider nur aus zwei relativ ähnlich schmeckenden Currys bestand. Vermutlich ist man abends, wenn in der Küche nicht vorrangig das Mittagsmenü gekocht wird, besser dran beim Thali eine größere vegane Auswahl zu bekommen. Im Unterschied zu anderen indischen Lokalen gibt es hier auch veganes Joghurt!

For an indian restaurant there is huge variety of vegan dishes, very tasty too! Another one „deserves 5 stars“ with 4 stars due to available non-veg offers! I will come again!

Number one reason to move to St. Pölten - Edit
If I ever had to contemplate whether or not to move to St. Pölten, this restaurant would make the top of the 'Pros'-list.
Read moreThough it is not 100% vegan you can actually order every dish on the menu and they will prepare a vegan version of it for you; that is on top of the numerous "originally" vegan dishes they already have.
Aside from their amazing food, the owners/staff is incredibly friendly. You feel right at home there.
(I would give them a 5Star review if it were possible. Since HappyCow only allows that for completely vegan places, 4 stars will have to do...)
