When we arrived the restaurant had just finished a huge dinner service of theatre go-ers; the restaurant was covered in empty plates and bottles. Despite this, we were welcomed and given quick, friendly service.
We got the Mushroom Rhajee, daal and the Eggplant Bharta with veggie samosas to start.
The Bharta was the standout dish for us. It was rich, vibrant and wonderfully flavourful.
The samosas were light and crunchy and brimming with flavour.
I went to Raja 10 ish years ago, then again this summer. I was happy to see the food was equally as delicious as my first visit.
Definitely worth a try if you're in the area!
