NO VEGETARIAN OPTIONS - Edit
We asked the staff if there were any vegetarian options and they said no.

Whatever - Edit
The food is pretty bland, no real flavor to the broth, only some spiciness. Vegetable noodle soup has hard boiled egg at the bottom, so think to ask to remove it.
Read moreThe staff was not helpful at all, the man at the counter wasn’t willing to communicate at all (he said he spoke no English but that shouldn’t be a problem, I’ve communicated with other servers perfectly fine during my trip).
I guess it is an option if you just want to fill your belly and don’t want to go far from the Myeondong shops.
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Very limited options, Unhelpful staff

Almost no vegetarian food - Edit
They told me the 麻辣香锅 (mala xiangguo) (마라샹궈) could not be made vegetarian because of the broth it is cooked in. (At least they told me!) They didn’t have 凉皮(liang pi) (랑피) in the menu, so I asked if they had it and they said no. I asked what vegetarian options they had, they said fried rice. I didn’t want that so I just ate some fried bread (手抓饼). It was fine.

Good in a pinch! - Edit
I was in the neighborhood and hungry and this was all that was around. I did the hot pot stir fry and made sure they knew to make it vegan. It was decent and I was glad to have something to eat!

Heads up - not entirely vegan/vegetarian - Edit
I go here each time I need to catch up with my daily dose of veggies. Just a heads up though, I don't think this place is suitable for people who are strictly vegetarian or vegan. As far as I know, the base broth is made from pork stock and bones.

Meh - Edit
They have many veggies to add in to your soup. The downside is that the broth tastes like spicy water. It isn’t very flavorful at all!

Tasty with lots of choices - Edit
I've visited Rahwa Kungfu a couple of times now and haven't been dissapointed yet. There is a lot of food to choose from and the restaurant itself is very clean.
Read moreI can really recommend their speciality Maratang (hot pot). You can either choose a spicy or non spicy soup to suit all tastes.
Their vegan cold noodles (liangpi) tastes okay but also a little bit bland compared to some restaurants I've been to in Daerim (Chinatown).
Overall this retaurant is a good option if you're into Chinese dishes and appriciate fast service. Food tastes okay and is reasonable priced.
