Best Vegan Restaurant EVER - Edit
Came here with my really good friend for the first time and I have to say… IM AMAZED. Anything you order is excellent, I am certain of that, but just be sure not to skip dessert because OMG THE TIRAMISU 🥰🥰 Recently found out the restaurant is closing (onto “new adventures” as they said) and I am devastated but I will be sure to go there one last time before then!

Best vegan restaurant on the planet - period. - Edit
It passed my Italian mom’s taste test and she’s not vegan! Home-made ingredients, impossibly tasting sausage (I had to ask twice if it was really vegan) and creamy soy cheese that reminded me of Mozzarella di Buffalo. And that dough. What it’s all about. It was phenomenal! You won’t find this anywhere, I travel around the world, was in Napoli a just few months ago and the pizza was meh. If you pass through Montreal, this is a must stop!

Restaurant Radis really takes vegan Italian food to the next level. Their mushroom pizza (with vegan mozzarella, 2 varieties of mushrooms, herbs, and pesto) tasted so legit! Their pizza with Beyond Meat sausage was scrumptious as well and it was indistinguishable from real sausage. They also offer other veganized Italian delicacies such as tiramisu, arancini, calzone, crab cakes, and lots more on their regular (i.e. non-COVID) menu. It's also one of the rare classy vegan restaurants that you can bring a date to.

Given my voracious appetite, that says something. 😂 The price (18$ for pizza) is reasonable given the portion size and quality of the food. I highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely like to return.

The food at Radis is amazing! Italian fine cuisine! The best pizza I had in a long time! The menu changes quite often so everytime you go, you can taste different stuff. The place is cute, but small, you definitely need to make a reservation a few days in advance.

Honestly you have to try it, it's super satisfying, the portions are big. And for once the cheese used for the pizza doesn't taste like oil or plastic, it tastes soft and melty and gooey and amazing (it's made from nuts). Go try it you won't regret it at all.

Tried to give 1 star only - impossible.
Read more1. No printed menus (encouraged to take a photo of the blackboard, and ask waiter for all details)
2. Uncomfortably loud. Had to yell all evening to carry on conversation.
3. Chef du jour pizza almost flavourless
4. Extra 30 minute delay for main course because problems with pizza oven. Given 3 small pieces of foccacia with oil to compensate, for 4 people.
5. Quite expensive

Read moreHowever the experience was dimmed by the fact that there was no table menus, meaning everyone had to get up and take a photo of the wall menu at the bar. There was no description of the meals so every table had to ask the waitress what EVERY option was.. it was very inconvenient.
Also seeing as the place is so small, we we were not able to change tables when we realised the group next to us was going to be very loud.
Recommended: vanilla pistachio cannoli & tiramisu & polpete entrée & gnocchi.
Not recommended: white colored pizza & lemon drink & cheese/bread entrée.
Pros: Most of the food is tasty.
Cons: Space, atmosphere, no menus.

I heard some really good things about this restaurant. Some people said it was an equivalent of sushi momo but italian. The food is overwall good and satisfying but it is definitely overpriced. They don't make everything from scratch. The use beyond meat in many of their dishes. Their plate of cheese was satisfying but nothing extraordinary. Their pizza was very good but wouldn't say fancy. The menu wasn't even readable as it was badly printed on a sheet. It would be a good place to invite your friends or even a date to if it was cheaper.

Tout était délicieux. À essayer: les champignons frits comme des calmars, la salade caésar avec kale et les tomate avec fauxmage. Les pizzas sont savoureuses et la croûte épaisse satisfaisante. Un beau petit resto (où vous êtes mieux de réserver!!) avec une belle ambiance. J’ai hâte d’y retourner.

The chocolate-hazelnut cannoli I shared for dessert was fabulous.
I was however very disappointed with my main dish. I had the cecamariti with a lobster mushroom bisque. I was happy to try fresh pasta for the first time in a restaurant, and I did not know cecamariti were a thing! However, I didn't like their taste so much, and although the plate was interesting with some sea veggies, mushrooms, cream, caviar and plenty of sauce/bisque, it was so salty I had a hard time enjoying it. And I like salty food.
I want to go again and try a different entree. I had a bite of a pizza, and that was very enjoyable.

Perhaps Radis was hyped up too much to me, but I was disappointed. The starters were decent, but my main (pesto cavatelli) was a miss. It was under seasoned (no salt). My friends had the gnudi and mushroom pizza and they were disappointed as well. The gnudi had an aftertaste of flour and lacked salt too. The cheese on the mushroom pizza was liquid and tasteless, and again, the pizza lacked salt overall. Some good things: great drinks, cute atmosphere. Oh, but NO AIR CONDITIONING. The waitress offered to get me another main dish but with no air-con, there’s no way I could wait another half hour for a new dish. It was a 30-degree night.
