Rua Felipe Camarao, 140, Maracana, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, 20550-165

Hare Krishna restaurant in the intersection of the very traditional Vila Isabel, Maracana and Tijuca villages. Possibly named or associated with Missão Prabhupada Vani. Near the campus of Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ) and Pedro Ernesto Hospital. A la carte with more than half of vegan dishes. Dishes including dairy are marked. Also sells frozen meals. During some week days they open at night, serving pizza, dal and Brazilian snacks. Holds Hare Krishna celebrations Saturday nights, some of them mixed with food serving. Holds Indian and Brazilian cuisine courses. Front door discretely signalized as a restaurante and HK temple, with small banner. Open Mon-Thu 12:00pm-3:00pm, Fri-Sun 12:00pm-4:00pm.

Category: Vegan-friendly, Indian, Brazilian

Well signalized - Edit

Vegan and lacto dishes are well signalized in the menu.
Maybe some desserts are not too clear if they have some milk derivative. Ask before requesting one.

Pros: Near University and Hospital, Nice empolyees, They don't light incenses

Cons: Does not open at Tuesdays
