Friendly and nice - Edit
The waiter was friendly when inquired about allium-free options. Had 3 curry options available. It was tasty with rice and naan bread. Too bad that I forgot to take a photo.

Great food - Edit
Had a Jalfrezi veg curry and Dal makhani along with complementary rice and some garlic naan without butter. Everything was absolutely delicious, the staff were helpful and service was quick. It is also one of the more reasonably priced options in the area.

Best Indian food I've had in agessss - Edit
Such a great restaurant, would recommend it to anyone (vegan, non lacto, veggie or meat eater!). Went with my family and friend and was the only vegan. Waiting staff were super helpful and knowledgeable about the food and ingredients. There were about 7 mains to choose from, 3 starters, and 3 different breads (inc. Naan which I never get to eat!). Was a real treat to have such choice at a non-vegan restaurant. Cheap prices and huge portions. All mains come with rice. 1 order of onion bahjees had 6 on them with vegan friendly dip! Everyone at our table was super impressed and super full by the end.

Disappointed.. - Edit
After making a point of going into this restaurant prior to booking and asking about vegan options, we arrived and were told that the starters were all fried in the same oil so meat and other starters all cooked together!
Read moreWe didn’t want starters cooked with meat so were unable order. BE AWARE.
Main course dishes are able to be prepared as vegan. Thanks to waiting staff for letting us know about starters.
Pros: Vegan main courses available, Knowledgeable staff
Cons: All starters cooked in same oil as meat dishes

Tasty and filling food - Edit
Having been in India I was excited to have more lovely Indian food. The restaurant was busy and seemed to understand veganism. Not lots of options and the dishes didn't seem to be very vegetable heavy and initially I was put off by the price of the rotis but they were large and very tasty. They brought us out rice too, even though we'd not ordered any.

Plenty to choose from - Edit
Very friendly and knowledgable staff about what is vegan - and there are about 6 or so mains to choose from, and a lot of the starters are vegan too. I had the vegetable samosa and the butter-free garlic naan to start with and the black bean and lentil curry with rice as dinner. Absolutely magnificent flavours - I would thoroughly recommend going!

I went back for seconds - Edit
The menu doesn’t indicate which dishes are vegan but the wait staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. They clearly pointed out which ones were vegan and which ones have nuts (I have a nut allergy).
Read moreI had Dal Tadka with plain naan which was the only vegan & nut free dish, but by golly was it delicious. I went there for dinner again the next night and it was still just as tasty the second time.
