good options

Decent amount of vegan options, but not all servers are informed. I had a bit of trouble with my server not being aware of veganism. However, once that was resolved, I got the dahl and it was really yummy. Very hot, nutritious, and filling. We also got the pakoras which were good, but the chutney was a bit lacking. The samosas were also nice, but my server said there is usually dairy on the outside, so I recommend clarifying when ordering.

Friendly staff decent options

Staff were able to tell which items were vegan but they weren't labelled as vegan on the menu.

Got a bunch of curries to share. They made naan and roti bread for us. Breads were a bit dry.

Curries were tasty, the potato one especially good.

Got onion bahjis and samosas for entree, bahjis had a suspicious egg flavour.

Staff were really nice.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Friendly staff, Nice dining environment

Cons: Nothing labelled vegan, Naan and roti a bit dry

Nice Curry

The curry itself was nice and full of flavours, and they were accommodating towards veganism with adapting different dishes.

My main issue was the vegetables were really hard.

The potatoes in the bombay aloo were good though, so probably won’t struggle if you have potatoes and mushrooms on your dish

Friendly and nice

The waiter was friendly when inquired about allium-free options. Had 3 curry options available. It was tasty with rice and naan bread. Too bad that I forgot to take a photo.

Pros: Allium-free options available

Great food

Had a Jalfrezi veg curry and Dal makhani along with complementary rice and some garlic naan without butter. Everything was absolutely delicious, the staff were helpful and service was quick. It is also one of the more reasonably priced options in the area.

If you feel like a warm curry after a day of adventures, this place couldn’t be better.

Pros: Delicious food, Helpful and quick service, Reasonably priced

Best Indian food I've had in agessss

Such a great restaurant, would recommend it to anyone (vegan, non lacto, veggie or meat eater!). Went with my family and friend and was the only vegan. Waiting staff were super helpful and knowledgeable about the food and ingredients. There were about 7 mains to choose from, 3 starters, and 3 different breads (inc. Naan which I never get to eat!). Was a real treat to have such choice at a non-vegan restaurant. Cheap prices and huge portions. All mains come with rice. 1 order of onion bahjees had 6 on them with vegan friendly dip! Everyone at our table was super impressed and super full by the end.

Pros: Variety of vegan options, Knowledgeable and helpful staff, Big helping at comparative low cost

Disappointed..

After making a point of going into this restaurant prior to booking and asking about vegan options, we arrived and were told that the starters were all fried in the same oil so meat and other starters all cooked together!
We didn’t want starters cooked with meat so were unable order. BE AWARE.
Main course dishes are able to be prepared as vegan. Thanks to waiting staff for letting us know about starters.

Pros: Vegan main courses available, Knowledgeable staff

Cons: All starters cooked in same oil as meat dishes

Tasty and friendly

We had a great experience at this place. The staff could identify which items were vegan and the food was delicious! We had a black bean & lentil curry and a potato & cauliflower curry.

I liked the service here and thought it was a nice place.

Tasty and filling food

Having been in India I was excited to have more lovely Indian food. The restaurant was busy and seemed to understand veganism. Not lots of options and the dishes didn't seem to be very vegetable heavy and initially I was put off by the price of the rotis but they were large and very tasty. They brought us out rice too, even though we'd not ordered any.

Pros: Very tasty

Cons: No vegan milk for lassis etc.

Lots of options :)

Most of the vegetarian options can be made Vegan, they can even make there naan bread vegan! Lovely table service, traditional South Indian restaurant.

Pros: Vegetarian options are cheaper.

Cons: A bit pricey, but typical for the region.

Plenty to choose from

Very friendly and knowledgable staff about what is vegan - and there are about 6 or so mains to choose from, and a lot of the starters are vegan too. I had the vegetable samosa and the butter-free garlic naan to start with and the black bean and lentil curry with rice as dinner. Absolutely magnificent flavours - I would thoroughly recommend going!

I went back for seconds

The menu doesn’t indicate which dishes are vegan but the wait staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. They clearly pointed out which ones were vegan and which ones have nuts (I have a nut allergy).
I had Dal Tadka with plain naan which was the only vegan & nut free dish, but by golly was it delicious. I went there for dinner again the next night and it was still just as tasty the second time.
