Venezuelan restaurant with good vegan options. I'm always happy to go to a Latin American restaurant here in Germany, and it was no different here. It works like this: you order, pay and pick up your order at the counter. I ordered in "español": a "vegan empanada", a "vegan arepa domino" and a "bowl con frijoles negros vegano". I also ordered a "panela" to drink. The dishes took a long time to be ready, but I was also full. The empanada and arepa were delicious. The "panela" juice was incredible, but the "bowl" was reasonable, nothing exceptional. I left still hungry from the small quantities of snacks, but happy to have gone to this restaurant, as I felt very much at home and the welcome was super warm.

Pedi também uma “panela” pra beber. Os pratos demoraram bastante para ficar prontos, mas também estava cheio. A “empanada” e a “arepa” achei deliciosa. A “panela” estava incrível, mas o “bowl” estava razoável, nada excepcional. Saí ainda com fome com as quantidades pequenas dos lanches, mas feliz de ter ido neste restaurante, pois me senti muito em casa e a recepção foi super calorosa.

Many vegan options and the Arepa Soyada I had was very delicious. I was only visiting Heidelberg but if I ever come back I would definitely come here again. If possible I would even give it 5 stars although they serve meat :)

Beim schlendern über den diesjährigen Heidelberger Herbst, konnte ich es fast nicht fassen tatsächlich vegane und glutenfreie Empanadas zu bekommen!

Die Füllung der Empanada war super lecker, da sie sehr würzig und unaufdringlich scharf schmeckte.
Der Mantel der Empanada bestand vermutlich zum Großteil aus Reismehl und würde im Vergleich zu einem herkömmlichen Empanadamantel abstinken, aber für eine glutenfreie Version war daran nichts auszusetzen.
Ich werde das Restaurant definitiv wieder besuchen und mir beim nächsten Mal die Zeit nehmen, ein vollständiges Menü zu kosten.
