Great find!!!

I like how easy it was to figure out vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free dishes were. You could easily make things vegan by removing the cheese.

Pros: They had a few vegan options, Items could have cheese removed to be vegan, Staff was very knowledgeable about food items

Cool/fun location

Mixed drinks were good. Brussels sprouts tacos were delicious. Staff weren't following covid-19 guidelines. Would come again.

Pros: Vegan options

Unsanitary Practices and Name Call Customers

I went to Rad Dads' at 1:05pm on Saturday, August 1, 2020. These were the expectations shared with customers:

Consistent with guidelines from the Executive Order and the CDC, we are committed to the health and safety of our customers. 𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐝𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐮𝐬:
★ Do not enter if you are or have recently been sick
★ Protective face coverings are required unless seated at your table (staff did not follow)
★ Dining area and outdoor patio seating is available with capacity limited to 50% of normal
★ Customers must remain at least six feet apart unless seated at your table (staff did not follow)
★ Dining tables and bar top seating is separated to six feet spacing, per party
★ Shared items—such as condiments and menus—are limited, regularly sanitized, or single-use (spoons were available to grab yourself and they were spoon side up rather than the handle up)
★ High-contact areas—such as tables, chairs, payment tools, and restrooms—are regularly cleaned and sanitized to CDC standards
★ All arcade games have been treated with a Bio-cide sanitizer, and are regularly cleaned
★ Staff are required to wear protective face coverings in the dining areas (staff did not follow)
★ Consistent with guidelines from the FDA, staff are required to wear protective face coverings and gloves in the kitchen area when handling food (staff did not follow, no gloves were worn, a staff member was seen eating behind the counter + licking her fingers + serving guests without gloves and without washing her hands after liking them many times)

Staff was not social distancing, had their masks off behind the bar, were eating, AND were licking their fingers while they were eating and then serving guests immediately afterward without washing their hands. The girl was the one wearing a mask the least and licking her fingers many times. Spoons were face up in a container where customers could grab their own touching not just the handle, but the spoon itself. They were also bashing customers after getting off the phone calling them "stupid customers". I will not be back until this is over, if ever. The food is GOOD, but this is not a safe place to be during the pandemic and I wish they cared about the community enough to have safer practices in place. I'm not sure licking your fingers while serving is EVER sanitary let alone now.

Pros: GREAT Food, Vegan Options, Cool Atmosphere/Location

Cons: Unsanitary, Doesn't follow governor's orders, Name call customers

Meh ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There menu is clearly marked:
V for Vegan
VE for Vegetarian
GF for Gluten-Free

They will accommodate allergies as long as you let them know upon ordering.

For the food, their servings are small. The tacos are sold individually. Don’t make that mistake as it can sometimes take a while to get food.

Tacos:
Bruss Lee - definitely the best ones. Tasty/spicy sauce, crispy Brussel stouts. Muah!!

Secret Love - NO. How is this a favorite?! It’s large cauliflower pieces heavily battered and fried. The time I got it the breading was grainy and mushy due to the sauce. The taco was 3 pieces of cauliflower, impossible to hold. Just no. Maybe better as the appetizer? Idk, man.

We got the rice and bean bowl “The One with the Veggies” and it was very small. Definitely order with tacos or chips or sooomething.

Pico is bland but super spicy :(

Side note: you can order food at the bar! If the line is crazy near the kitchen, just order at the bar.

As it’s in the hockey arena, it’s pretty cold in there. On game nights, it’s crowded with people watching the game and having drinks, so it can be hard to find seating if you are there just for food.

Non-game nights, creepy quiet with all the rink lights off. But better chance of seating.

Pros: Lots of veggie options, Accommodates allergies/dietary preferences

Cons: Small portions, In a hockey rink - cold & busy on game nights, Limited seating - hard to find hockey nights
