They offred us only some kind of fruit buffet and it looked like they don't cook.

we went for dinner (2 times), and sincerely we didn't like much.
There were the remains of lunch (I think) all 2 times, and they have warmed the one we chose from the buffet in the microwave. In most of the buffet in the dining room there was a bad smell.

I came across this place by accident as it is not listed in any Vegan search engine. They serve a great selection of buffet daily. Has no ala carte. I sometimes eat in but basically I take away lunch and dinner. They have a selection of rau (greens) like Rau Muong (morning glory), Tía Tô (Purple perilla). Su su (Chayote), Cai Lan (Chinese broccoli)and many other local greens. They do have about 5 huge platters of various kinds of tofu spicy, with mushrooms etc, platter of fried rice with vegetables and the usual steamed white rice. I saw two large platters of salads and they also have two platters of noodles with different vegetables. Highly recommend. its away from Halong Bay centre. Located in Hon Gai about 20 mins from the tourist area. I has a section where they sell organic produce, I spotted various teas, pulses, dried herbs. The owner can speak English.

Updated 30th August 2015. I revisited this delightful vegan restaurant. Besides an excellent buffet soups, main corses they now have a selection of over a dozen desserts. Black bean, sweet potato, mushroom and a number of other desserts can top with coconut cream.
