Serves meat, vegan options available. A family-run authentic Mexican restaurant located on Kentucky Street, participating in the Blue Zones Project with "Plant-Slant" approved options. The kitchen serves traditional dishes using heirloom corn tortillas and Rancho Gordo beans. Vegan-friendly choices include "Tacos de Hongos" (mushroom), "Sopes," and guacamole, provided they are ordered without queso fresco or sour cream. The rice is cooked with chicken stock and is not vegetarian nor vegan, but the beans are confirmed vegan. Open Tue 11:00am-8:00pm, Wed-Sat 11:00am-9:00pm, Sun 11:00am-8:00pm. Closed Mon.

Vegan options here! - Edit
We have been here a couple times. Wait staff are very friendly and helpful getting vegan orders correct.
Read moreI had the Veg Enchiladas. They were covered in a Mole sauce. really flavorful and there was cashews in it for a little crunch.
One time before I had the Hongos and enjoyed them.
One note is the rice is not vegan and when ordering removing the Queso Fresco will make it vegan.
Also, The laminated menus do not have a graphic about Plant-Slant Blue Zone approved items.
The Tri Fold menus do and might making ordering easier.
