Surprising vegan options - Edit
We came here for a sort of breakfast or brunch. The eatery was in the middle of a city park with an amusement park nearby. It was a no-frills operation, and obviously not veg, but I was surprised at the vegan menu. The person serving me asked if I was there for the vegan conference, which alas I was not aware of. We had a mushroom sandwich combo and a falafel sandwich combo (both R$28). The mushroom was delicious and the falafel sandwich was tasty enough but a bit dry. Not too bad though and exceeded my expectations.

The best seitan sandwich - Edit
As above, forgot to take a photo. I inhaled it. Combo with a huge pile of chips and freshly sqeezed orange juice. They also had sandwiches with falafel, one more that I couldn't translate (possibly mushrooms) and a jackfruit burger. The place is fully vegan now. Should give 5 stars for that performance :)

Are you sure they are 100% vegan now? Because the last time I went, they still had regular coxinhas, pão de queijo and dairy ice cream... I'll try checking back this week.

Eu estive lá no domingo (15/09/2019) para conferir, embora tenham muitas opções, não é um lugar vegano, ainda servem versões tradicionais de salgados e sorvetes. Já solicitei o update no happycow.

Uma opção salvadora - Edit
Todos os quiosques parecem servir a mesma coisa, então quando eles responderam “sim, tem coxinha de jaca” quando perguntei se tinha alguma opção vegana foi ótimo. Porém é a única. Fato é que nos quiosques ao redor nem pastel de vento tem porque os pastéis já vem preparados. Ou seja, não é muita coisa mas salvou num dia de passeio no parque.

Creative, affordable, and pretty healthy - Edit
When I heard about this place, I just felt interested in visiting a spot with vegan options in a busy area like this park. Then, I found out that the menu included more than just coxinhas. Then I found out that almost everything had no gluten. Then I found out that the owner had plans of transitioning to a vegan venue, as well as to a vegan diet herself (already started). Then I found out that she tried all of these crazy experiments and that they turned out deliciously authentic. And then I thought: this should probably become a hotspot for me and my friends. And that's what's happening. Congrats! I can't wait to see a green leaf here and give this listing five stars. ,-)

Então, descobri que o menu incluía mais do que apenas coxinhas. Então, descobri que quase nada tinha glúten. Então, descobri que a proprietária tinha planos de transformar o empreendimento num local vegano, bem como para uma dieta vegana ela mesma (e já começou). Então, descobri que ela tentou um monte de experimentos doidos e que terminaram deliciosamente autênticos. E então pensei: isso provavelmente deveria se tornar um ponto para mim e meus amigos. E é isso que está acontecendo. Parabéns! Não vejo a hora de ver uma folhinha verdinha aqui e dar 5 estrelas! , -)
