Lovely cafe, which sadly does not serve plant milk. We only stopped here for coffee, so cannot talk about the food.

Located close to the beginning of Levada do Rei, this restaurant offers a beautiful surrounding with an especially well kept garden and appealing interior.

The staff was super friendly and despite being so close to the levada, it wasn’t too crowded.

Both the shakshuka and the burger were tasty. The burger is a vegetable patty, not mock meat. I don't think they have a tofu sandwich anymore, it wasn't on the menu. Also good smoothies

The restaurant is located just across the parking space of the start and end of the Levada do Rei. They are just building a new terrace.
Read moreWe had the tofu sandwich and the shakshuka. The waiter (owner?) apologised that both chefs were not available today but je would try the best to prepare the shakshuka. It was mainly tomato sauce with tofu and a potatoe. It was filling but nothing special. The tofu sandwich was average as well. What was not mentioned in the menu was that both the sandwich and the shakshuka were served with garlic bread - a bit too much garlic for us 😅
