No longer vegetarian, serves meat - Edit
This is the second location of a well-established, excellent vegetarian restaurant in another neighborhood of Chicago. At first this location was great, however they recently started serving meat. It's very deceptive, they have a separate menu with beef steak and burgers yet still advertise themselves as a "vegetarian restaurant" on the sign. I won't be patronizing a place like this, thankfully the original location is still fully vegetarian for now.

Cons: Started serving meat, Still pretends to be a vegetarian restaurant
Vegan Vagabond
I spoke to the owner. He says that the menu is 100% vegetarian, mostly vegan, but when they rent the restaurant out for private parties, the people that rent the restaurant will have meat as an option.

Hi Vagabond, I went a few weeks ago and they had a printed meat menu. It's not obvious but the owner said it's available for anyone and cooked on a separate grill

Great homemade food and atmosphere! - Edit
We love this place! Great outdoor seating area, and the inside is also nice, with interesting art on the walls. Food is yummy, with lots of tasty vegan meats. Karaoke every Thursday and live music on Fridays.

Hidden gem - Edit
This place is tucked away but nails it every time. I always get a takeout burrito meal and it's delightful. One of the only restaurants I've found which seems to use soy curls.

Good food but a bit pricey and sometimes meh - Edit
I've been here a few times over the last year. I really appreciate that there's a vegetarian/vegan resturant in Pilsen that tries to emulate the flavors I grew up with. With that being said, I do think a lot of their stuff is expensive compared to neighboring restaurants. A decent portion of the dishes don't come with rice or beans, and if you do want them, expect to pay an extra $4 (at least) for a half cup of each. Something else that really irked me was when I ordered the red enchiladas. The sauce was just the same habanero salsa they served with chips. I thought it was pretty lazy considering that red enchiladas are made with different chiles that have a different flavor profile. Overall I think it's a nice place to come and eat every once in awhile, but I don't crave it as much as other restaurants.

My favorite vegan tacos in Chicago - Edit
I love the tacos, refried beans, and chicharron platter (🔥 spicy!). Location is down a few steps from street level, don't miss it!
