Unlike other shops in Coimbra, this shop sells products which are clearly marked vegan from a vegan brand (as opposed to a non-vegan brand which happens to have some vegan products). However the staff might not know what 'vegan' is, so check the labels. Confirmed closed December 2016.

Quental Biologico June 2012

Was there June 2012. Very fine small shop. She has many fine fresh vegetables and fruits - the rest of the product line is with good quality products, but the shop is very small, so there is not space for a large variety. The owner is very nice and speaks English. You have to take care not to pass the store, as it is looks a little like a garage with one door open.

Pros: Fine quality fresh vegetables and fruits, Friendly English speaking staff, Vegan products
