Great food. - Edit

Had a friend visiting and needed a restaurant that takes care of vegan and meat eaters. I enjoyed the potato plate with rice, beans, pico de Gallo, guacamole and sautéed vegetables. Look forward to next visit to try the vegan tacos. Outdoor dining available and very friendly staff. Don’t miss this place!

Excellent again - Edit

Another great meal in Julian! This time I had a vegan street taco plate, with one vegetable taco and one potato taco. Both kinds of beans are vegan, as is the rice. The guacamole is excellent, and the salsa is fresh and piquant.

Pros: Several kinds of vegan options, Seasonings are incredibly delicious, Reasonably priced

Vegan options include taco plate, guac, and chefs taco plate. The tortillas and home made tortilla chips are vegan, as well as the rice and beans (black and pinto). All of the agua frescas are vegan. They have dairy free vanilla coconut ice cream. Vegetarian options are the nachos, salad, burrito or burrito bowl, quesadillas, and the aforementioned vegan options. The churros with chocolate are vegetarian.

The interior of this place is SO cute! I dig the vibes in here. I got a plate of 6 tacos: three potato and three veggie. They were delicious and filling. The guac comes in a giant bowl but it deceptively not a huge amount of guac. Could use a little lemon juice. They were pretty busy when we visited, but food came out quickly. The restroom here is open to customers, so a ton of people take advantage of it. Would definitely go back!
