I really like this shop, it offers a huge variety of products for the vegan diet and the fresh fruit and vegetables are also very good. However it is really expensive

4,5 stars, could have more vegan options - Edit
The deli at the Quay Co-op has a delicious and large selection of fast options to take away or eat at the small cafe area. Quite a few options are vegetarian, and it would be nice to see them veganised. But the food is very tasty and the price is fair. They also do a good matcha latte. Super friendly staff!
Read morePros: Healthy, homemade feel, Many options early in the day, Tasty and very fairly priced
Cons: More things could be vegan, Later in the afternoon most things are sold out

Vegan options - Edit
The restaurant is permanently closed and they only have the deli/cafe inside the store. Definitely more vegetarian than vegan. Only some things at deli labeled vegan so ask staff to point out vegan treats. Wish they would switch to fully vegan.

Fantastic shop - Edit
The market sells lots of vegan products like ice cream, cheeses, yogurts, etc., and has many sustainably packaged goods. There's a little cafe counter inside where you can buy vegan desserts, salads, and other snacks at reasonable prices (my dessert was €3.50). They carry vegan scones as well which was a great find!

Great food at a good price - Edit
The personal was kind, the food was yummy, and it wasn’t pricey at all. Recomend it to anyone who wants local products but at the same time some “quick food”.

Yummy lunch options - Edit
The deli at the Quay Co-op is a great place to grab lunch on the go, and sitting down in the cafe is lovely. They have a great selection of vegan and vegetarian breakfast and lunch options, plus you can browse the huge range of products on offer in the market itself.

Its in here somewhere! - Edit
Really impressed generally with the republic if Ireland's health food shops.
Read moreThe fabled NHS means huge swathes of the norths population will not consider anything like this unless they are forced to or become disillusioned, otherwise its met with a derisory snort and the end result is the huge abuse of benzodiazepine meds and general widespread poor health, but at least its "cheap"...
Corkonians are SO LUCKY to have so much organic food, so many natural health products so well located and so handy. If I lived here, I'd eschew the nasty, soulless (but cheap) supermarkets for here. A great range of all things healthy.
Pros: Huge range , Ethical , Centrally located

So much variety - I wanted to buy everything! - Edit
Great store in the city centre of Cork. It's like an Aladdin's cave, you don't know what great things you'll find around the next corner. I stocked up on snacks for driving around Ireland. Really lovely staff too, although that goes without saying in Ireland.

They have vegan scones! - Edit
I was fairly blinded by the vegan scones so can't tell you much else about the shop other than it is large and has a good choice of chilled and other items! We didn't need to actually shop so I didn't look too closely at prices of things. We did however have vegan scones and hot chocolate in the little downstairs café which was great. Nice shop, great scones!

Tiny, overpriced, but a few vegan options - Edit
One of the smaller and more expensive co-ops I've visited. No joke: we saw a lip balm that I bought in another co-op for $4 sold there for $15...and vegan laundry detergent that is available at Tescos for $11 was over $20 at the co-op. The vegan cheeses are reasonably priced, however. There are often fresh baked vegan scones, carrot cake, etc. It's so expensive, we pretty much only go there to get vegan cheese and an occasional treat like a flapjack. Parking is usually a nightmare unless you go late at night.

Large, well-stocked health food shop and organic m - Edit
Close to the city centre and beside the Quay Co-op Café, this is a large, bright, friendly, well-stocked health food shop and organic market. The shop stocks vegetables, grains and staples, refrigerated and frozen goods, snacks, deli items, baked goods and toiletries. Not everything is vegan but they have a good range of vegan things, including scones. A great local vegan resource.
