Family-run vegetarian eatery where you order a la carte or choose from buffet of different veggies and soy meat dishes, rice, and noodle dishes. Located in small alley in old town that is difficult to find - it's between Le Loi and Hai Ba Trung: take the alley mid-block to the south, toward the river, from Phan Chu Trinh for 30 meters and find the restaurant on the right. Open Mon-Sun 7:00am-8:30pm. Last order 8.30PM.

Delicious and Lots of Choice - Edit
There was a huge selection of food on offer here and all vegan! I had one of the noodle dishes and enjoyed it very much, lots of different elements in it. The spring rolls with peanut sauce were also very fresh and yummy! All very reasonably priced too!

Incredible Buffet - BEST veg Chickn - Edit
Ate at Quan Chay Dam within minutes of entering Hoi An and it created a very positive first impression.

Go for the buffet - Edit
We were looking forward to trying this place, and based on the positive reviews had planned to choose from the buffet. Perhaps we should’ve gone earlier in the day because when we got there the buffet was almost empty, with the few bits that were left looking very dried out.
Read moreWe decided to order from the menu instead, choosing a pho, a stir-fried noodle dish, and a side of spring rolls. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with the food, finding it bland and boring. The noodles in particular were very flavourless, to the point I truly wonder if they accidentally skipped a step in the cooking process. It’s possible we just got unlucky with our dish choices and/or the cooks that day.
Despite staying nearby, we didn’t come back to this restaurant a second time, but if we had we definitely would’ve gone for the buffet instead.
Pros: Cheap 💸
Cons: Bland food 👎, Mì Quang noodles 🙅♀️

Simply awesome! - Edit
There's a menu, there's a buffet, it's all vegan and tastes fresh and clean. Plenty of tofu and seitan treats on offer. I paid 70,000vnd for putting every buffet item on my plate rice and got some soup as a freebie. This venue is linked to Ching Hai, so the food is guaranteed to be vegan.

It has a lot ok tofu options and the price is really good. You can order a rice dish with all the tofu and veggie plates like a buffet. Really good.

It is a great place to taste traditional food. The service was a bit chaotic but the staff was friendly. It is located in the old town in a small alley.

The food was amazing, they have a large buffet of mock meat where you really couldn’t tell it’s vegan! My meat eating friends were happy and so was I.

Great food but could be cleaner - Edit
The food is really nice and great staff. However the place is a bit all over the place and could be better organised and cleaner. You actually walk to the toilet on the surface they are preparing the food, so higiene is none. Otherwise a great place

We came for breakfast around 7am as they were opening and they had two dishes available. We tried both and they were delicious! Everything was very fresh and tasty. The dishes we tried were cao láu and my quáng. The family who runs the restaurant is kind and friendly. Definitely recommend!

Einfach lecker! - Edit

Maybe a bad day? - Edit
Decent prices, quite quick service -although a bit unattentive and with some language barrier.
Read moreWe had the Pho and wheat noodle soup. Both soups were without much flavour or heart. Both soups hade quite a thick and starchy consistency plus lacked tons of flavour.
Buffet looked nice, but with mostly mock meats that you would have encountered earlier in Vietnam.

Vegan Cao Lau - Edit
That’s a place where you can eat Hoi An special dish: Cao Lau, it’s important because sometimes it’s hard to find a flag dish in a vegan version. Cao Lau is very tasty and unique, noodles are hand made. They have edible straws! Very good.

Good food - Edit
This is buffet style, meaning you pick what you want then they nominate how much you pay. It was pretty cheap and the food was good, although a lot of repeats from similar places (in the fake meat department that is). The loss of star is for the man serving us who wasn't overly friendly, but all the other staff were lovely. Even one of the kids was helping take orders.
