Local Vietnamese vegan - Edit
The street it's located on is a very hustling and bustling street market. I started at one end and about 20 metres into trying to cut through the barrier of Vietnamese going about their morning rituals of buying fresh produce and products I gave up and I was about to turn around and then I spotted this little vegan restaurant. So glad I did.
Read moreThe older lady (mother?) sells a variety of local Vietnamese vegan dishes. I ordered the Hu Tieu. At only 25.000 Dong. A real bargain. Her young staff (sons?) promptly gave me the food incased in plastic bags and I gave them 25.000 for their food and efforts.
The kitchen is out front and inside the dimly lit room is the dining area with low lying aluminum tables and plastic chairs so small if I sat in one, my knees would be adjacent to my ears.
Great local vegan cuisine. Great family run restaurant. Great location to people watch.
