5/5 best dish on my 4 week trip - Edit
This was such a surprise as I didn't expect to find vegan cao lau but here I was with my omni partner enjoying the same meal. The staff was so kind and helpful and chatted a bit with us and the cao lau of course was amazing. The flavours were just so unique! 5/5 for me!

Tasty Cao lau - Edit
My first cao lau and didn’t disappoint! Waitress was very friendly and helped with describing the items on the table that i could add for more flavour/spice!

Local spot on our walking tour - Edit
After our walking tour we stopped here for our first Cao Lau. It’s my first one I’ve had and to be honest it didn’t quite hit the spot. Sadly did not live up to the hype but it was good value I guess

My first Cao Lau - Edit
Not sure I have enough to benchmark this lunch as it was my first cao lau - tofu, udon style noodle, salad, bean sprouts. Stilts flavour but plenty of chill, soy, lime etc on the table to season. I really enjoyed it but the summer rolls were well below par and there was an annoying group sat next to us and that totally ruined the experience.

Amazing Vietnamese food - Edit
This is one of the best Vietnamese meals I have ever had, all made vegetarian or vegan for us. We had the Cao Lao with tofu, rice pancakes, white rose, spring rolls, and fresh spring rolls. Everything was so delicious. We were all so happy with each dish and came away talking about how amazing the food was for hours! The whole meal was very inexpensive and good portions, nice service and cold beers. The extra hot sauce and shallots were just divine.

Came back for seconds - Edit
The vegan options are so good the spring rolls and signature Cao lâu are the best we had in hoi an!
Read moreSo flavourful and she talks you through how to enjoy the dish with all the sides like lime, onions and chilli sauce/paste and then mix it all together. Lots of herbs on the dish too not just the lettuce.
She also talked my partner through his meat dish and how to properly eat it which was really nice you can tell she’s very passionate and the price is very reasonable 😊
Pros: Value for money, Fast service , Very flavourful
