Simple cafe food but done really well - Edit
Serves typical cafe-style food like paninis and soup, but does it really, really well. You can 'create your own' panini filling out of loads of choices, many of which are vegan, including vegan cheese, olives and sun dried tomatoe pate. As previously mentioned they also serve vegan sticky toffee pudding.
Pros: really tasty vegan lunches
Cons: really can't think of any (it rained both times we

Vegan sticky toffee pudding! - Edit
Friendly, helpful staff who knew exactly what was vegan and what wasn't. I was able to have sticky toffee pudding (which was delicious) for the first time in years! Savoury dishes were good as well. Nice décor with famous quotes concerning tea.
Pros: Good sweets, good savouries, helpful staff

Lovely little place - Edit
I've just been for the first time today with a friend , partly for the cafe and partly to see the tapestry itself which is also great. I really enjoyed lunch there although I was pretty stuffed afterwards! I got a red lentil pate toastie which came with salad (although this was just cucumber, tomato and iceberg lettuce) and some crisps - the pate was so tasty, although it did seem to be the only vegan option for toasties (£4.25). For dessert was vegan sticky toffee pudding which was pretty reasonable at £3.30 including icecream/sorbet (i had lemon sorbet which actually went really well). Also fennel and liquorice tea from an interesting assortment (£1.40). Quite small but fitting to the place - nice decor, cheerful and with some copied panels from the tapestry and I remember a colourful wallchart about veggie nutrition. Would like to go back again!
Pros: Part of a lovely, interesting attraction, Tasty vegan food, Cater for gluten free diets
Cons: Could have more vegan options , Salad not very imaginative, Few vegan cakes
