Gorgeous food, separate vegan menu, lovely staff 🩷 - Edit
My boyfriend and I loooove Quail! The gorgeous botanical gardens are an amazing setting, great for a date! The staff (especially Brady) are the best!! Loads of vegan cakes and treats on display to buy too 😊 would definitely recommend for any vegans coming to Whangarei. Obviously would be great if the whole cafe was vegan, but the options are lovely and the brunch food is so tasty 🩷

Lovely little cafe with increasing vegan options, staff are super helpful and accommodating. Love the bruschetta, cauliflower tacos and the choc slice. They are more than happy to do swaps on their menu and it’s a nice place to sit.

Cutest setting in the peace of the quarry gardens - great indoor and outdoor seating options, friendly staff, and the few vegan option on the menu are yum - I love the cauli tacos and the avo bruschetta.
Read moreHighly recommend a stroll around the gardens afterwards -have heard rumours of stingrays in the lake but am yet to glimpse one myself.

This is my chosen lunch and coffee spot in Whangārei. Beautiful gardens to stroll in like being reborn in nature! Go here you won't regret it. My girlfriend and I bought a beautiful ceramic sting ray here also
