Okay, but needs improvement - Edit
We wish we could say were as impressed as every other reviewer, but we're not. The food was okay, but it didn't taste like the classic dishes we get from our typical go-to joint. We got the sesame tofu which tasted like sesame oil/seeds and not much else. We also got the chicken lomein which was better than the sesame tofu, but it was still lacking flavor. The mushroom fries were the saving grace of the meal. We'd probably go back just to get those.

Great local find! - Edit
Staying in Westminster and found QSu Cafe. What a great find! Food was plentiful, yummy, and so reasonably priced. Staff was friendly, informed, and helpful. I will be back!

100% vegan - Great food where everything is a real option - Edit
The quality of the food at QSu is improving again. There was a short period during COVID weird when it seemed they were trying but cashflow wasn't helping them do what they wanted. The past couple visits have been much better food and still great prices.
Read moreThey are a "please bus yourselves" kinda place. Walk up to the counter, place your order, find a seat and they'll bring your food out to you. The plasticware (if you use that) I believe is all compostable. I'm simple and just grab washable metal utensils, but the milkshake comes in a plasticlike cup.
The tofu nuggets are very good, the black pepper adds a nice kick. Photo shows the Thai Chicken Lo Mein and a peanut butter shake. I believe they make the "chicken" in house, not 100% sure but it's got a great texture/ mouth feel and flavor.
Pros: Everything is vegan!, Food's Tasty, They have a "No Tip" policy
Cons: Tables are smallish for groups with lots of food, They close mid-day, check hours before visiting

Great food and value - Edit
I ordered a boba tea, pork fried rice, and chicken lo mein. All were very good and quickly prepared, although there was only one person working so I imagine it could be a long wait if there are lots of customers at once. The owner was very patient with me and gave me suggestions when I asked. She even gave me a sample of the boba when I couldn’t decide which I wanted (I ended up doing half and half). It was all much more reasonably priced than any other vegan place I’ve eaten at recently. I’m excited to go back and try some of the more unique menu items!

All-vegan menu delight! - Edit
Very clean restaurant. All surfaces are disinfected and it’s obvious that management cares. It’s wonderful to decide on a meal based on what you want versus choosing a meal based on what you “can eat”. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

My favorite place! - Edit
Qsu has become my favorite restaurant! Colorado has a lot of great vegan restaurants but this one tops them all (just my opinion✌🏼😊)! Excellent service and amazing food. My favorites are: fried rice with chicken steak, kung pao togan, egg rolls and boba tea. I highly recommend this amazing place!💚🌱🥡🥢🥰 #Veganuary

Bomb vegan boba and Asian food - Edit
This was the tastiest sesame tofu I’ve ever had (I’ve never had it before but it sure did hit the spot lol) and I got the lo mein, which was pretty good but not as good as the sesame tofu, and a chai boba tea. Only thing I would’ve changed is they put a little celery in those two dishes where celery doesn’t belong, otherwise excellent

Amazing Oasis in the Vast Vegan Desert between Boulder and Downtown Denver - Edit
I am so excited to find this place. They have lots of delicious boba options and a variety of tasty appetizers and entrees with large portions.
Read moreI’ve found the service to be fast, the restaurant to be super-clean with a fresh, attractive look, and the owner to be really pleasant.
Plus almost everything in the take-out packaging is compostable (you can ask them to leave out the extra packets of mustard and soy sauce).
Last but not least, it’s super close to the Westminster Costco so if you’re a Costco fan like I am, you can have a delicious meal, get gas and pick up inexpensive fruits and veggies for home all in the same trip!
The only downside with the place is its name. I admit it’s cute but it’s awfully close to “Qdoba” and not at all Google-friendly. Plus even in my own house when I say “let’s go to Qboba” my husband invariably thinks I mean the other place.
Pros: Delicious food, Large portions, Yummy boba
Cons: Confusing name
