Qing Chun Parkmen, A Vegan Gem in Shanghai

I had the pleasure of dining at Qing Chun Parkmen four times during my stay in Shanghai, and each visit was a delight. This pure vegan restaurant has quickly become one of my favorites thanks to its consistently excellent food and welcoming atmosphere.

Every dish I tried was outstanding, flavorful, beautifully presented, and clearly crafted with care. On my last visit, I opted for the set menu, which turned out to be the best decision. It offered a perfect variety and balance, showcasing the restaurant’s creativity at its finest.

On weekdays, you can usually walk in without a reservation. However, on weekends it’s best to book ahead, as the restaurant is very popular and otherwise you’ll likely be placed in a queue.

The prices are very reasonable given the exceptional quality of the food. It’s rare to find a place that combines affordability with such high standards.

Overall, Qing Chun Parkmen is a must‑visit for anyone seeking authentic vegan cuisine in Shanghai. Whether you’re a committed vegan or simply curious, you’ll leave impressed and satisfied.

Pros: Every plate is flavorful and beautifully presented, Walk‑ins easy on weekdays, booking best on weekend, Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get
