What a nice surprise - Edit
I'd heard of this chain, but had never been before. (Mexican food can be tricky with all the cheese and lard they sometimes cook in.) But there were only three restaurants close to the hotel I was staying in overnight, and I was starving so I stopped in. I was so pleasantly surprised! The veggie tacos are completely vegan if ordered without cheese, and they offer a build-your-own-bowl that you can fill with brown or white rice, several kinds of beans, lettuce and grilled veggies. I asked the young man behind the counter if there were any hidden animal products to worry about, and he explained how everything was prepared -- no butter, mayo, or lard to worry about. I got the veggie tacos on corn tortillas -- they were absolutely delicious. I never eat fast food at home, but when I travel, it's great to have another place I can count on.
