Not really good, not really bad

It's not really good but also not really bad. The fresh vegetables are good, the tofu was try and there where really many dishes that tasted very fatty and as if its fast food.

Pros: Many different options, for vegans and vegetarians

Cons: Expensive, somethings are taste old, dry and fatty

Good quality food

Pythagoras provides a decent feed, as other reviews have indicated. The range of vegan options is excellent, and the plate sizes are decent for the money. It'd be hard to not find something to enjoy - the choice is almost too much as it isn't possible to try everything in a single visit!

The ambience in an upmarket shopping centre is a bit rubbish, but you can sit in the window and watch the outside world, at least.

Pros: Good food

Cons: Ambience.

Good buffet

Only vegetarian and vegan dishes in a large buffet. From Chinese to Turkish, all kind of servings.

Pros: Good variation, Nice ambiance, Low price for the quality

Cons: Shopping center, not for romantic dinner

Huge variety of vegan food

The buffet restaurant on the ground floor of the Crown shopping centre is not very cosy from the point of view of atmosphere (more like a canteen), but there is a huge selection of vegan dishes. You can't complain about taste and variety at all - a big praise to the chef Dennis Riesen, who already created fantastic dishes in the former Amano Verde restaurant. There are a number of dishes that can be found regularly in the buffet and some change according to season or offer. Every now and then there are also price specials for certain times of the day or daily specials, therefore: Keep your eyes open! The only shortcoming: the dishes are sometimes arranged chaotically, e.g. finding warm dishes at the dessert buffet (so look at all shelves!) and as so often at buffets the food is sometimes no longer hot or fresh. All in all, absolutely recommendable.

Pros: Rein vegetarisch, Viele vegane Optionen, Für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei

Good buffet but no atmosphere

Large buffet should have something for everyone. Although the choice is large, it is mostly the same every day.
Inside a big supermarket so don't expect much in terms of flair - cameras are watching you eat. I would go more often if it was a cosier space with a separate entrance.

Pros: Big choice, sometimes has probiotic foods (Kimchi)

Cons: not all organic, not all whole food (white rice), a bit salty, no atmosphere

Good choice

Pythagoras is always a good choice when you're feeling hungry but looking for something different that Sattgrün. The buffet concept is similar but unfortunately Pythagoras still serves dairy.
The food is delicious and the buffet offers a nice variety.
It's located on the ground floor of the new Crown shopping centre and there is ample seating available.

Really Food Food

The only downside to this buffet is that not all of the dishes are vegan. The vegan ones are labelled very clearly.

Every dish I had was very tasty, and for less than 10 Euros for the small plate, this is a solid deal.

There's quite a variety of food here, with hot and cold dishes and desserts.

Recommended! If only all the dishes were vegan!

Pros: vegan clearly labelled

Nice vegan buffet

I eat here regularly. The food and freshness has definitely improved over the last month and I enjoy it very much. They offer a wide variety of vegan dishes and salads all clearly marked. I recommend the samosas, the bolognese, the beetroots and on top of it all the crispy sweet potato fries!

The price concept has also changed, you don't pay by weight anymore, instead the prices are fixed. The normal plate is 9,90EUR and the large plate is 13,90EUR.

Also sweet deserts can be bought separately.

Pros: Buffet, eat what you like, Large variety, Opening hours

Cons: Parking fees

Good mix but mixed freshness

The Edeka Zurheide food court was nice and cool on a hot day and I came here for lunch. Although vegan buffet items were marked, labels on a few were missing, so I asked a staff member, and it took a bit of perseverance for me to be quite clear on this. The variety was pretty good and freshness varied: some food was OK, but samosas, for example, were cold and doughy. Because of the hot day I ended up ordering three organic house-made lemonades, which were very good. Plate size was better than some other places. Large was €11-€12.

Pros: Reasonable variety

Cons: Freshness uneven
