Cozy, fully vegan restaurant and teahouse (普素茶房). The atmosphere is calm and zen-inspired. The menu offers a wide variety of plant-based dishes, including spicy stews and regional specialties. Tea service is available in the afternoons. Please note that the menu is in Chinese only, so a translation app is recommended. Open Mon-Sun 9:30am-12:00am.

Good food

Aubergines were to die for, loved it ! Maybe a kinda small quantity compared to usual in China but still reasonable. Ended with 75rmb for two dishes and rice - okay.

Open, but only tea

I was there around 10:30am and although open there were no people and only tea was available. Couldn't figure out if food is served at a later time or if there wasn't any food at all when I visited (end of May 2026). Unfortunately the woman who was there did not speak English and translation through app didn't work well.

Quiet disappointing.

Cosy and delicious

Amazing food, the best aubergine I've had in china. Mock ribs were delicious too. Lovely tea ceremony, tried a white tea and was able to take home the rest of the leaves we paid for but didn't use. Served complimentary snacks with tea service. Friendly waitress.

Wonderful place for vegan food in Xi’An

Close to the city wall, I went here for every meal during my weekend in Xi’An. Very kind waitress who kept my cap for me that I left after one meal and was also really helpful with food choices. The place is nice and relaxing. The food is really nice I recommend the sweet and sour and the “pork ribs” plus truffle rice. They also do takeaway which was very useful for the return train trip.

Good food

Great vegan food in relaxing environment. Menu is in Chinese so you'll have to use translate. Was 147RMB for 6 dishes, which was much cheaper than stated on the menu.

Couldn't work out the tea situation. Tea was between 150-350, assuming you get the block to take home? We decided against.

Multiple Branches, good food

There are multiple branches of this restaurant/tea house. We accidentally found out when putting the address into DiDi. Food is very nice, staff very attentive in both locations we visited.

Pros: Good food, Ambience

Cute and relaxed tea house/restaurant

We loved the interior design of Pusu tea house. And the staff is very friendly. They served us even though the kitchen was already official closed (8:45 PM). The food was delicious. We would go again 😊

Zen, Cozy, Spiritual, Vegan

Pusu Teahouse (普素茶房) is a cozy, fully vegan restaurant that also serves tea in the afternoons. Conveniently located near Yanpingmen metro station, it’s easy to reach. The atmosphere is calm and zen-inspired, with friendly staff who make you feel welcome.

The menu offers a wide variety of delicious plant-based dishes, though it’s only available in Chinese, so you may need a translation app.

Overall, Pusu Teahouse is a wonderful spot to enjoy a relaxed evening meal with friends, combining tasty vegan food with a peaceful ambiance.
