i am forced to give two cows because the lowest rating aloud to give for a veg resturaunt on the site it 2 cows, otherwise it would be only one!
i have NO IDEA how this place has good reviews. i am a Indian food lover, it seriously my favorite food. this place sucked. the waitress didnt speak good english or french, the samosa were ok, but tasted a little old like they sat there all day, the soup was bland, and the food was soggy. the chana masala i ordered did not taste like chana masala, and had a really odd taste to it, my boyfriend ordered lentils and vegetable curry, seriously it was allll gross. i only ate my rice. I never in my life not liked an indian place, seriously never, there are always spices and what not. this place had no spices almost i asked for spicy and it was bland, like american indian i guess. it extremely cheap for two pêople 15$, but its worth what you pay, none quality gross food.
Pros: price
Cons: food, serice, decor

Insanely cheap Indian food - Edit
Pushap is a deliciously greasy cheap eats joint with a wide selection of vegetarian/vegan fare. Pushap samosas are a staple for anyone who has ever gone to McGill. This is excellent if sinfully rich Indian food is what you're looking for.

Most authentic Indian in town. Delicious! - Edit
I've been going to Pushap for over ten years, and the food is always delicious. You can't beat the price of their samosas, either. The people are lovely, the sweets extremely dangerous ;) and the food is the most authentic of all of Montréal's Indian Restaurants. It's worth the hike out to Namur metro station.
Pros: Taste, Variety of sweets, Price
Cons: bit oily
