We drove from Abbotsford to Steveston for our 20th wedding anniversary for a day out. We were so disappointed with the complete absence of vegan choices in the area - until we found Purpose Smoothies!

Smoothies are much better than Juice Truck which is close by. Very friendly service and the owner went above and beyond, even giving our daughter an ice pack when she hit her head leaving the restaurant.

My boyfriend and I stopped by here for a light lunch because it's pretty much the only plant based place near where we're staying. I got the cacao smoothie bowl and my boyfriend got the beet smoothie; both were really tasty. The owner was very friendly, knowledgeable, and excited about his business. They were out of a couple bowl toppings, but he subbed in chia and hemp seeds, which was awesome. All smoothies have their intended purpose listed alongside the ingredients (anti-inflammatory, energy boosting, etc.) Also, all utensils, cups, and bowls are compostable! Overall, a cute, much needed option in Steveston!
