A+ Thai Food - Edit
Excellent Thai food.
Read moreWe had to ask for the full Thai menu, as this is in a shared restaurant space. The dining room was small but pleasant and the staff were very kind!
The flavors of the pad Thai were drool-worthy. Golden curry, mango salad, crispy rolls — all delicious. Could barely get a picture before we devoured it all.
Their VeganChicken was really impressive as well!

A Nice Surprise - Edit
I got in late to NY and I was looking for a quick vegan meal. This place hit the spot! A cozy comfort food joint with delicious options. I had 2 appetizers - the spring rolls and wings and a Pad Kee Mao as my entree.

Great Thai - okay Burgers - Edit
I first came here for Thai. That was all they had. Now they added burgers. I have tried both. The Thai food is amazing. The burgers are just okay. If you want a burger that is not beyond or impossible this may be a spot for you.

Not good (possible ghost kitchen) - Edit
I’ve never gone on HC and given a bad review until now. I cannot understand how this place has received positive reviews. Maybe we he old location was different and had different owners but the current spot is a far cry from what it was.

Two-for one! - Edit
This place offers top-notch vegan food in an unpretentious manner. The food is delicious and healthy, and the staff is super friendly.
Read moreUPDATE: this place is now just for takeout or delivery; it is now at 28th and Broadway for pickup at Plant Bar. From what I understand, you can eat what you order at Plant Bar--ask them to verify.

Vegan Thai, วีแกน ไทย Wī kæn thịy!!!!!!! - Edit
We love Thai food, but where we live it's extremely hard to get. And forget getting vegan where we live.
Read morePurple Thai is a very lovely establishment. The decor is fresh, inviting and beautiful. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing!!! One caveat, however, we ordered medium spicy and OH MY GOD WAS IT SPICY!
We will order mild next time, and we will return.
Pros: Vegan Thai!!!, Near MSG, Spicy
Cons: Spicy (we got medium, wow, it was hot), Expensive

Delicious and all vegan - Edit
So happy to find this place close to my hotel. Lots of options including Thai food and other things. Lots of fake meat options for your meals. I had the drunken noodles with mock duck and it was delicious! Great ratio of noodles, veggies, and duck, all prepared very well. Super friendly owner as well! Will definitely come back when I'm in midtown

Disappointed - Edit
The food was mediocre and not worth the price ($17 per dish). The tofu dishes didn’t even come with rice. The rice dish had barely any rice in it. Very disappointed.

Fake Thai, Pumpkin curry WITHOUT pumpkin - Edit
REALLY disappointed with the food. I've been to Thailand, this food wasn't even close to Thai. I could make a much better meal with shop bought curry paste. I ordered the satay... tasteless. The pumpkin curry had no pumpkin and the berry rice was in a box that was half empty. I would rather eat Thai food in a non vegan restaurant because I would get what I paid for.
Read morePros: Fantastic service by Zach, Allowed us to eat in even though we got take out, They changed my protein after cooking
Cons: Pumpkin missing from pumpkin curry , Chicken satay was bland , Rice portion ridiculously too small

Amazing drumsticks - Edit
The best restaurant I’ve ever been to. I HIGHLY recommend the Drumsticks; they have an amazingly authentic texture and fake bones. The bamboo bones reassure you that it’s really vegan, so you don’t get that “oh my god, am I eating real meat right now?”-fear, but can enjoy the food in peace.

Amazing food. Beats places that are even more expensive. Prices range so someone could find something that fits his/her budget. The burger is really great even compared to places that only sell burgers.

Best Thai food of my life - Edit
I sent my husband from central NJ to pickup an order. Every item was incredibly flavorful without being salty or greasy. Portions were extremely generous and the free juices were a lovely thought.
