Great stop for a healthy road snack

Lentil and brown rice salad was amazing, so was the Ginger Jun Kombucha. Disappointed the salad bar and hot bar were not open, but that is Covid. Not their fault.

Pros: Some carry and go options, Lots of options if you have an oven/microwave

Cons: Salad Bar and Hot Bar Closed

Cute cafe inside a shop

All buffet meals are done by weight and can get quite expensive but have lots of options (mostly vegan but also a lot that is not). Otherwise there are small options in a fridge or packaged items in the store section. Tables to sit down and eat. Gets quite busy

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Can eat and shop at same time, Tables, cutlery, microwave etc.

Cons: Gets busy, Not all vegan options , Can get expensive

Small, decent vegan options

Purple Porch isn't a large store so options are limited. However, they have an excellent salad bar with hearty vegan options (the "deconstructed hummus" chickpea salad is yummy, also grain salads, and potato salad). They make a yummy vegan breakfast burrito (also a vegetarian one). Whenever I have gone, one of the two hot soup options is vegan and the daily hot food usually has a vegan option (otherwise, a vegetarian option). Daily menu is on their website and foods are labeled vegan. Almost always have a vegan scone (flavor changes daily). There are also some vegan options in the cold prepared food section.

Pros: Vegan-friendly, Ingredients listed, GF options

Cons: Grocery section limited
