Best vegan Ice cream in Heidelberg, Pistacchio, Almond or Hazlenut are available as "milky" vegan alternatives, classic selection of vegan gelato (Fruit, - e.g. banana and strawberry are both wonderful and a superior dark chocolate). A bit on the pricy side, but Heidelberg is a touristy place and as a local I'd still prefer pricy quality over cheap rip offs.

Read moreThe dark chocolate flavour is to die for, soooo good. The hazelnut (based on almond milk) is also delicious.
If you ask, they can make you a vegan milkshake, which tastes just as good as the ice cream.
Even non-vegan people I bring along to this store, find the vegan ice cream delicious.
The staff is super friendly and joyful. For example, they once said we could sit as long as we liked after we had finished our meals, as it was probably going to rain soon. So sweet!
The atmosphere among the staff is very homely and Italian. Love it.
Bonus points for there being a restroom.

When I'm in Heidelberg, I like getting ice-cream at Eiscafé Puro. They don't just have fruit sorbets and dark chocolate sorbet, but also actual "milk" ice-cream flavours. Their vegan flavours are hazelnut, pistachio, and sesame, and they're all based on almond milk. Sesame is probably the most unique, but my favourite is hazelnut! Cones are vegan too (by default), and they also have edible spoons (€ 0.10). The price is currently at € 1.40 per scoop, so not too bad for the city centre.

Wir waren heute spontan dort, weil von außen 12 vegane Eissorten beworben wurden. Die Waffeln hier sind vegan und es gibt sogar essbare Löffel für 0,10€, welcher mir allerdings nicht besonders gut (aber auch nicht besonders schlecht) geschmeckt hat.

Angeboten werden verschiedene Fruchtsorten wie Zitrone, Mango, Maracuja oder Erdbeere, aber auch weitere Sorten, welche sonst eher als Milcheis bekannt sind. Diese werden hier mit Mandelmilch hergestellt. Wir hatten Pistazie, Haselnuss und dunkle Schokolade. Alle drei Sorten haben uns super gut geschmeckt. Im Pastazieneis könnten unserer Meinung aber auch gerne noch Pistazienstücke sein. Haselnuss und Schokolade schmeckten sehr vollmundig und cremig, wie „normales“ Eis. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden und konnten das Eis genießen. Eine Kugel ist allerdings mit 1,40€ nicht auf der günstigen Seite des Lebens.
Pros: Große Auswahl, Leckeres Eis und Waffeln

ACHTUNG: Leider wurde mir ohne zu fragen ein paar Mal direkt der Plastiklöffel mit reingesteckt, wenn ihr was für die Umwelt tun wollt, sagt am Besten vorher das ihr keinen wollt oder zahlt 10 cent mehr und benutzt den Waffellöffel (ist vegan)
