Amazing as always! - Edit
We love Purezza (so much we even went to the Camden branch on our wedding day!) and this trip was as great as ever!
Read moreThis branch is much smaller than the Camden one but it has a nice cosy decor and ambience. Our server was super friendly and made us feel very comfortable and welcome.
They have a 3 small plates for £18 lunch offer but we had a 50% off pizza voucher so we went for that instead. We got the voucher through their mailing list - I’d definitely recommend signing up as they don’t overdo the emails and they sometimes have great deals like 50% off!
We went for the Four Cheese Pizza and Black Truffle Pizza and they were both delicious as ever! The sourdough base is delicious (they also have alternatives including gluten free) and the toppings and flavours are just excellent as well. Both pizzas were absolutely delicious and I’d highly recommend. They were both great but if I had to pick I would say the flavour of the Black Truffle edged it. Both ones we chose also featured Honestly Tasty cheeses which if you haven’t tried on their own are available in Marks and Spencer and are also really delicious!
I also like that they have gender neutral toilets and sustainable toilet paper. Purezza is just awesome and I would highly recommend a visit!
Pros: Delicious food, Super friendly server, Cosy ambience

Hit and miss! - Edit
This place seemed really hyped on Google and Happy Cow, so we took a day trip to Brighton and had lunch here.
Read moreWe ordered the salmon, mac n cheese, Cheesus pizza, a calzone, the Happy Sunshine smoothie and a salted caramel coffee.
The drinks were great, the atmosphere is cosy, but service was a little slow (although full house to be fair), and food hit and miss. Loved the mac n cheese and the calzone (although too much dough compared to topping/filling), but the Cheesus (4 cheese pizza) was a bit tasteless, and the smoked salmon was really just carrot. We had made salmon from carrot before at home and the Purezza version was way below what we expected.
Even so, the other food was excellent, and we had a decent meal.
Pros: atmosphere, the good food is very good
Cons: slow service, some of the food just isn't that good

Cooool - Edit
Wow, first time ever to be in a Vegan pizza place, and first time ever sourdough pizza as well.
Read moreI had the calzone which was great, with fresh spinach and ricotta. My wife had the purple sweet potato with vegan ham kind of things on it, which was nice too.
But the thing that stood out most were the pizza bases, they were excellent; soft, chewy,, airy, crispy, amazing! Someone there knows his or her pizzadough very, very well.
Make reservations, we couldn't get in a second time, the place is always full.

Best Vegan Cheese - Edit
Came with my boyfriend for dinner recently, and we were blown away by the cheesy bites starter - honestly so delicious!! I had the mac and cheese and wasn't completely in love with it, but that may be a personal dislike of vegan versions of ham/pancetta and so more on my ordering choice than on them. My boyfriend had a calzone and really enjoyed it. Would definitely come back and recommend to others.

Awesome - Edit
Amazing pizza and pasta restaurant on St. James street, everything is vegan and tastes great! I've tried a few different pizzas, with a lovely cheese (from nuts?) and the lunch time specials (pizza, salad bowl or mac 'n cheese) are about a fiver each. Main course about a tenner. And the Mojitos are out of this world!

Nice Place, But ... - Edit
It was nice to find a classy vegan restaurant in Brighton, and the staff were great. We each had a pizza, and they were imaginative and tasty, but both could have been improved: because of a total absence of cheese, the toppings just slid off the pizzas and we had to eat them off the plate. And while it's nice to have a gluten free crust, Val said it was a lot like shoe leather -- thin and hard, and I could see that the edges were almost burnt. Our bill came to £38, although that did include a glass of wine, a bottle of cider, and a cappuccino (which was very good).

Pizza Heaven - Edit
Day trip to Brighton after seeing the Menu online. Sat lunchtime the place was packed but the Manager took my number and kept me a table. The pizza was divine: best Pizza outside Italy I have had in 16 years, no joke. The Cheesy Balls are puffy, and the cheese delicious and light, the portions are generous. Next time I would like to sit by the Bar and watch the guys prepare the dishes, although I would probably bombard them with questions and dribble all over the glass, lol.
Read moreNext time I will remember to book a table, could sit there and eat breakfast lunch and dinner all in one day!
If in Brighton, it should be on anyone's list, Vegan or not ( although some silly people walked out after seeing the meatless Menu??!!), the flavours are all there, nothing to improve, if I have to find a fault I would say they need a bigger venue :)
Highly recommended , 10 stars out of 5 :D
Pros: Menu is all plant based, Very good value for money, Amazing choice of toppings
Cons: No Cons

Top Notch - Edit
Really tasty food. Great atmosphere. Really lovely staff. The starters were particularly delicious - especially the cheese bites (the Parmesan one was fantastic) and the cheesey dough balls. Some of the recipes could do with some tweaking. The pizzas could do with more topping and less bread crust and being slightly less crisp. The ice-cream is made with banana, which was somewhat overpowering. The Brownie was outstanding!

Hands down the best quality pizza in the UK - Edit
Was stunned by how incredible Purezza's pizzas are. My favourite (so far) was the Just Beet It - smoked beetroot, chestnut mushrooms, wild rocket, and a caramelised onion and beetroot sauce on tomato and house made rice 'mozzarella'. Choice of three bases - regular (sourdough and to-die-for), hemp, and gluten free. The garlic bread/pizza and chocolate calzone are wonderful too. Utterly impressed my non-vegan friend who happily proclaims that Purezza's chocolate calzone is the best she has ever had.

I almost cried - Edit
The four cheese pizza was an absolute dream - the mozzarella could have tricked anyone and the other cheeses (which are made in-house) were awesome. I haven't had anything that sated my cheese hunger so well up until now. They also do free mini kids' pizzas which is a very nice touch.

Original Review with an Update - Edit
(28th Aug 2016) This has the most amazing range of pizzas and will need to go back again. So much choice, I thought I'd put the menu pages on here, for just incase you can choose before you go in. I personally think everything is reasonably priced, as you get a lot of topping and it's very filling. Only small problem was I think my cheesecake was still partly frozen, but I ate it and it still tasted nice. Place is very clean and staff are friendly.
Read more***UPDATE (12th Apr 2017): No more stuffed crust #SadTimes and menu has shrunk to about ten pizzas*** However, still tasty.
Pros: Choices, Near the beach and city centre
Cons: Stuffed Crust no longer on the menu

Delicious! - Edit
We called into Purezza after checking the Happy Cow app, needing coffee, hot chocolate and cake. It was soon decided that tiramisu puddings were a must, as there were no chocolate brownies available. The deserts arrived quickly in individual kilner pots and were devoured quickly! The hot chocolate and coffee were great, served in pottery mugs. After seeing the vegan pizzas delivered to the nearby table, we decided to order three to take out, and were delighted with them.
