Amazing as always! - Edit
We love Purezza (so much we even went to the Camden branch on our wedding day!) and this trip was as great as ever!
Read moreThis branch is much smaller than the Camden one but it has a nice cosy decor and ambience. Our server was super friendly and made us feel very comfortable and welcome.
They have a 3 small plates for £18 lunch offer but we had a 50% off pizza voucher so we went for that instead. We got the voucher through their mailing list - I’d definitely recommend signing up as they don’t overdo the emails and they sometimes have great deals like 50% off!
We went for the Four Cheese Pizza and Black Truffle Pizza and they were both delicious as ever! The sourdough base is delicious (they also have alternatives including gluten free) and the toppings and flavours are just excellent as well. Both pizzas were absolutely delicious and I’d highly recommend. They were both great but if I had to pick I would say the flavour of the Black Truffle edged it. Both ones we chose also featured Honestly Tasty cheeses which if you haven’t tried on their own are available in Marks and Spencer and are also really delicious!
I also like that they have gender neutral toilets and sustainable toilet paper. Purezza is just awesome and I would highly recommend a visit!
Pros: Delicious food, Super friendly server, Cosy ambience

What else can I say as opposed to the title? I remember when the pizzeria opened and it could be a bit hit and miss but they’re game is most definitely on. Latest pizza I had was the ‘Season 4 Pizza 1’ which was absolutely delicious.

Great food, service spotty - Edit
We had dinner here one night and it was absolutely fabulous. The truffle pizza and cheesy garlic bread were to die for. So much so that we went back another day just for the garlic bread. The restaurant was not crowded and was clearing out towards the end of the evening. We waited 45 minutes for the garlic bread, asking many times when the bread would be done. Despite multiple assurances that it was on its way, we finally learned our ticket had been “lost.” This was very poor form and could have been easily avoided had the waitstaff done their job at a very slow time of the evening. We were extremely disappointed and left the restaurant. The management offered to make us something to take away, but by this time is was nearly 11:30 pm and we needed to go to bed. We would have given this place 5 stars, but this poor service and handling of the matter made us sour to the entire experience. Hopefully it was just a reflection of the server we had and not how it typically is for other people.

Always brilliant - Edit
Been coming here for years for special occasions and date nights, such a hardworking company making all their own vegan cheeses from scratch! Creative menu, lovely wood-fired pizzas in an Italian-made pizza oven, good portion sizes, reasonable prices considering what you’re getting and kids eat free! Also do a lunchtime deal for 9” pizzas (I think this is what the comment below is referring to!). The London branch is lovely too! Highly recommend for Brighton visitors and well done to the hardworking staff.

Amazing pizza - Edit
The staff was extremely friendly. The lady helped us with the choice of our pizzas and it was spot on! We came to Brighton for a city break and will definitely be back! Cocktails were as nice as the food. Also, it wasn’t very expensive. If you’re vegetarian or vegan and love Italian food, you need to try it!

Generally Good Food - Edit
I visited the restaurant twice so far and in general liked the food and found the staff knowledgeable and helpful. I wouldn't recommend the macaroni cheese because by the time I was ready to eat it it was getting cold and had gone kind of hard and not so nice. They took that off my bill though which was good of them. I loved the courgetti spaghetti though and think it would be fantastic if they made more of it and offered it as a main course. The other time I went there I had the cheese board with its different vegan cheeses and crackers and 2 dips. I like the fact that they make their own cheeses, so I found it didn't taste much like cheese at all which I appreciate. I found it filling, so was able to take it away and save it for leftovers the next dayp. I would quite like to try the raw pizza option in future. They didn't have any left when I was there last week, but it seems an interesting choice.
Read morePros: Knowledgeable staff., Make their own vegan cheeses., Offer a couple of raw options.
Cons: Very reluctantly accept cash if at all.

Truffle omelette on a hemp base, Cashew Dream - Edit
I was given a friendly welcome at the door and it was explained that they were a cashless, plant-based place.
Read moreI usually like to eat healthier things like Buddha bowls. However, Purezza is a renowned vegan Italian place so, when in Rome...
I narrowed the choice down to lasagne or truffle pizza. I'd never eaten a hemp-based pizza (surely healthier than wheat) or truffle before so that seemed the most obvious, adventurous, choice. I also didn't know banana ketchup was a thing so I had some of that. It was delicious!
I followed it with their Cashew Cream "pudding" which was also very tasty.
As an occasional treat for quality food, I'd go there again. - although I'd probably have one of their raw, healthier, options!

The best Italian style vegan restaurant! - Edit
I am madly serious 😃, I recon this place, based on Italian food, got the X factor.
Read moreI used to travel from London to Brighton just to get there since their opening (now that they opened in London, I got a bit lazy though).
They offer a great variety of food and make the best pizza in the UK. The dough variety and the vegan Mozzarella 2.0 represent the X factor.
I will still come back here (despite the London one) to enjoy the super friendly staff!
Congratulations to Filippo! 😊
Pros: No cons, Best pizza, Great family
