Amazing as always! - Edit
We love Purezza (so much we even went to the Camden branch on our wedding day!) and this trip was as great as ever!
Read moreThis branch is much smaller than the Camden one but it has a nice cosy decor and ambience. Our server was super friendly and made us feel very comfortable and welcome.
They have a 3 small plates for £18 lunch offer but we had a 50% off pizza voucher so we went for that instead. We got the voucher through their mailing list - I’d definitely recommend signing up as they don’t overdo the emails and they sometimes have great deals like 50% off!
We went for the Four Cheese Pizza and Black Truffle Pizza and they were both delicious as ever! The sourdough base is delicious (they also have alternatives including gluten free) and the toppings and flavours are just excellent as well. Both pizzas were absolutely delicious and I’d highly recommend. They were both great but if I had to pick I would say the flavour of the Black Truffle edged it. Both ones we chose also featured Honestly Tasty cheeses which if you haven’t tried on their own are available in Marks and Spencer and are also really delicious!
I also like that they have gender neutral toilets and sustainable toilet paper. Purezza is just awesome and I would highly recommend a visit!
Pros: Delicious food, Super friendly server, Cosy ambience

My favourite! - Edit
Can't get enough of Purezza...my favourite place in town. They've changed the menu recently and it's so so good- gluten free mac n cheese and lasagne are both to die for!

Good food if not in a hurry. - Edit
Playing Rock, Paper, Scissors while waiting for the food. Over two hours for three courses.
Read moreThat was the only post I was going to share because although the food and atmosphere was great the waiting time was longer than acceptable.
The photos reflect that as the starter was started before I thought about taking the photo and the dessert demolished.
Busy day of the year so hopefully you will have a better experience.

Amazing pizza and desserts - Edit
This place is a gem, the most delicious vegan pizza I’ve had. In addition, the tiramisu and cheesecake are divine. I was only disappointed with the seasonal pumpkin pizza since it was too dry.

I feel it would have been better if I hadn't gotten takeaway.. - Edit
After going to purezza in London before I was eager to try food from brighton, unfortunately this experience was far from good although I'm not sure if it was fully the restaurant that was to blame.
Read moreMe and GC being the hungry folk we are decided to get a pizza each(lasagne piccante and pepperoni) and the buy one get one free meatball deal plus a pesto dip and a garlic mayo dip.
First off the order arrived with a portion of the meatballs stone cold and covering the bag that contained both portions of meatballs, the second portion was actually somewhat warm even though they were side by side in the bag...
The pizza's were both almost cold and the recipe for the dips was far worse than the previous time we had gone to purezza about two years ago.
As we are traveling we have no way to reheat the food so we just had to eat it.
The warm meatballs were still amazing but I feel I can't fully comment on the pizza as it might have honestly just been that them being cold just made them very disappointing and hard to stomach.

Pros: Meatballs still tasted good
Cons: Dips recipe change is nasty, Couldn't finish the pizza

Not as good as it used to be - Edit
We ate in the Camden restaurant two years ago and I have been dreaming of going back ever since, so naturally I used every excuse I could think of to eat from here while on holiday in Brighton. I wish I hadn't.
Read moreWe got the meatballs, pepperoni & agave pizza, lasagne piccante pizza, garlic dip, and pesto dip.
The meatballs were delicious, no complaints there.
The pepperoni pizza tasted okay, but the crust was so chewy and soggy, it was just unpleasant.
The lasagne pizza wasn't very nice at all. It had the same unpleasant crust as the pepperoni pizza, and the taste and texture of the mince on it made it very difficult for me to eat.
The garlic dip is completely different to the one I had in Camden. It used to be really thick, almost like a paste, and it was delicious and tasted handmade, but now it's gloopy and just tastes like it's from a jar. The pesto dip tasted very similar to it, so I'm assuming they use the same overpowering mayonnaise as the base for both, with a very mild basil taste.
I'm very disappointed in this as I genuinely loved the meal I ate in the Camden branch, but unfortunately I won't be eating from Purezza again.
Pros: Fully vegan, Delicious meatballs
Cons: Texture of base and crust, Dips recipe have changed, Not as nice as they used to be

Not the best - Edit
Being a pizza loving vegan I really wanted to love Purezza. But unfortunately it wasn’t all that. The margarita base was too soft and soggy. The four cheese had jelly on it, that was just a bit weird. The crust was a bit too chewy. I wish they would sell regular pizza, the menu is too experimental. The meatballs were mashed up (not balls) and completely overpowered by the taste of tomato. It pains me to say this but I prefer the vegan selection at Pizza Express.

Nice food but the price keeps climbing - Edit
Lovely vegan pizza place, highly recommended if you’re in Brighton. The cheesy dough balls are incredible. However the takeaway option isn’t always great, the price has gone up every time I’ve looked (e.g. the mac and cheese is not £2 more than when I prior ordered it), and sometimes the quality seems to differ drastically day to day

Delicious pizzas and desserts - Edit
We shared a couple of pizzas so that we were able to try two different toppings. We really enjoyed the creative options that were on the menu. We went for gochujang and BBQ bourbon - both were amazing and would fully recommend.
Read moreWe finished the meal with a tiramisu and salted caramel brownie. Again, both were really good and definitely worth the money.
The only thing I would say is that the method for paying at the end was a little bit annoying. You have to pay using a QR code which is fine, but the service charge is already added and you aren't able to adjust the amount. Once you have confirmed your payment details, the platform then asked for another tip before adding on an extra (small but unnecessary) transaction fee.
Pros: Tasty pizzas, Tasty desserts, Helpful and friendly staff
Cons: Payment method is annoying

Marry me, mac and cheese - Edit
Great menu with lots of mouthwatering options, so very difficult to choose. I absolutely loved the mac and cheese with pancetta. I wasn't besotted with the truffle pizza because it lacked just a mini bit of umami. Prepare yourself for multiple visits, you will definitely want to try more than you can eat in one sitting.

Best pizza ever - Edit
This was the best pizza my husband had ever had - the tomato flavours were so full and perfectly blended with the garlic. My spicy pizza was just that - spicy and juicy and delicious. To be able to have vegan tiramasu was an amazingly decadent treat. A must visit for everyone.

Not impressed. You can get a better frozen pizza - Edit
I had the pepperoni . It wasn’t good. You can get a better frozen pizza than this. Very disappointed . Crosta and mollica or dr oetker vegan pizzas are better .. Was too noisy for me and there was a hair in my OJ. Don’t want to slate any vegan place but had heard these were good Pizzas .. the one I had was def not.

Fabulous Food - Edit
For our first visit it was hard to choose between just doing the starters, because they all sounded delicious, or salad and pizza. We went the traditional route and had the Caesar Salad and Four Cheese pizza with a pesto dipping sauce.
Read moreThe Caesar was more robust than any other I have had, and I liked everything in it(I’m not sure what all of it was 😂).
The four cheese pizza delivered on ooey gooey and the crust was easily folded for the perfect bite. The pizza bones were perfect for dipping.
You do pay by QR code and not wanting to create an account for the WiFi, made it a challenge for me(I’m not using cell service) to check out. My partner had to pay.

It's Purezza, nuff' said. - Edit
Just the best pizza. We go regularly in London and here too, it's just too good. This time round we had the Pepperoni and the Four Cheese, with meatballs and garlic potatoes on the side. So much food, all delicious and rapidly and enthusiastically consumed. One thing is for certain, this won't be our last Purezza.

The greatest pizza(s) - Edit
Truly phenomenal pizzas, my friend also loved hers despite not being veg. The tiramisu was kind of a letdown though, as it felt dry. Staff wrote our order on paper, however when it came to paying we were asked to scan a QR code and take it from there. We weren't quite able to work it out, but were given the chance of paying by card instead. I can see why a business may refuse to handle tallow-stained notes in the UK, but that can only ever apply to fully vegan establishments such as Purezza. Hopefully the Bank of England will take in the criticism and cruelty-free pounds will be printed in the near future.
