Wouldn’t go back - Edit
I’ve read so many glowing reviews about this place, but honestly, it was very meh. We went for a quick lunch. I got the lemonade, which tasted like salty hydrolite. We also got the spring rolls, which were fine, but very bland, they definitely needed the sauce they came with. We also got the crispy tofu with rice and “special” sauce. The tofu was okay and had a nice crunch, the rice was plain, but had a nice flavour, but the sauce was not nice at all. All in all not great. The venue itself was a bit bleak too. Maybe because we were the only ones there at lunch time? You could see a peek at the ocean, which was nice. It was fine, but yeah, wouldn’t go there again.

Amazing destination for vegans - Edit
About half of the extremely extensive menu is vegan and all vegan items are clearly marked. Everything I tried tasted amazing.

A Hidden Oasis for Plant-Based Dining - Edit
If you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, Govinda’s is a true hidden gem. Tucked away on the first floor of a quiet mall, the restaurant offers a peaceful, airy atmosphere that feels miles away from the street noise below. The spacious hall provides a relaxed setting that's perfect for a long lunch or a calm dinner.
Read moreThe food, however, is the real star of the show. Here are a few highlights:
Sweet and Sour Mock Chicken: Truly divine. The texture is spot-on, and the balance of tanginess and sweetness is expertly handled. It’s a must-order for anyone craving a hearty, flavorful dish.
Fruit Shakes: These are incredibly impressive. Even when ordered without added sugar, they are naturally and deliciously sweet—a testament to the quality and ripeness of the fruit they use.
The Service: The staff are absolutely lovely. Their warm hospitality makes the dining experience feel personal and welcoming from the moment you walk in.
Whether you are a longtime plant-based eater or just looking for a high-quality meal in a serene environment, Govinda’s is well worth the visit.

Tasty and open late - Edit
Super delicious with so many vegan options. Come on an empty stomach because there is so much to try. Wait time for some dishes can be long but is worth it

Be weary if you are vegan or have a dairy allergy. - Edit
Lovely staff but not sure if they fully understand the difference between vegan and vegetarian even though it advertises vegan food.
Read moreWe ordered jeera rice and a couple of curries and specified that we would like everything vegan.
When the rice arrived I could tell that the jeera wasn't heated in oil from the taste but they said it was vegan. Soon after we left my husband started coughing. He has a dairy intolerance.
