One of a few outlets in Thailand, this vegan restaurant opened in 2018. Serves a large range of meals plus desserts, coffee, and drinks. Example of food include rice paper salad rolls, banana pancakes, nachos, quesadilla, burrito, mushroom larb, burger and potato wedges. May build-your-own salad as well. Confirmed open, Feb '23. Open Mon-Tue 10:00am-7:00pm, Thu-Sat 10:00am-7:00pm. Closed Wed & Sun.

Beautiful presentation. Fresh and tasty. - Edit
Fully vegan menu with a range of options from breakfast to dinner. Everything was beautifully presented with edible flowers on wooden plates. metal or paper straws were offered with beverages. Seating was casual with space outside away from the busy road near the entrance.
Read moreI had a Pure Island smoothie with pink dragonfruit, passion fruit and banana, which was delicious. I ordered the falafel wrap as an entree and it came toasted and looked amazing— substantial enough to share. The falafel were mung bean rather than chickpea and the texture was more like a refined beans. It didn’t taste bad but was a bit squishy/pasty. The tahini sauce on the side was garlicky and may have had some mustard in it.
I don’t think I’d order the wrap again as there are many other things I’d try and it was quite filling. There were a few Thai fusion items on the menu but also Mexican, Japanese, Italian and western fusion dishes, açaí bowls, protein shakes coffee drinks etc. definitely worth a visit!

The salad rolls come with an enticing array of sauces. The drinks are large and tasty. The burger and sweet potato fries really hit the spot. Plus you can look out over a field with birds and dogs playing (not together).

Tasty Creative Western Food - Edit
Nice restaurant for some western food. The dishes felt very creative with home made cashew sour cream and vegan cheese sauce on the burger. Just felt like it had more ✨flair✨ than your average western food and the chef had really tried to make interesting and tasty food! I had the mushroom burger one night and the autumn rolls another night and both were very tasty! I also tried their sweet potato on the side which were like sweet pototo roasties. I really enjoyed them:)
Read moreThey have a small Thai section on their menu but it’s very much westernised Thai food so defo not the place to go if you’re looking for Thai food. But if you’re in the area and fancy some good tasty western food I definitely reccomend popping in here!
Prices aren’t bad for Koh Samui and they have a lovely seating area. Staff were also very friendly!

Very nice western food - Edit
Pure Vegan Heaven is a mostly western food style place with some Thai dishes that look a bit westernised such that they fit in with the overall menu. I chose the mushroom quesadillas and got garlic sweet potatoes on the side. The quesadillas came with two dips and salsa all of which were very nice and combined well together. The quesadillas themselves had an tasty filling and were presented wonderfully.
Read moreThe side of garlic sweet potatoes were alright, the garlic dip was very nice but the sweet potatoes weren't cooked amazingly at least for my preference. The flavour of the sweet potatoes wasn't as rich as I had hoped and the texture of them wasn't supreme either.
With all this considered I think I would still strongly recommend Pure Vegan Heaven as the food was mostly great, the food was nicely presented, it restaurant had a nice atmosphere (with some seating outside on a patio thing that was unfortunately occupied but looked like an even nice place to sit so I was jealous of that!) and the staff were friendly.

We’ve tried there quite a bit and loved everything. I never thought I’ll order pasta while in Thailand, but couldn’t resist. It was delicious. Kefir was the highlight of our trip, I’m inspired to start making it at home.

Very friendly staff. We enjoyed the Thai iced tea, iced coffee, Thai spicy soup, and fried rice! Service was quick and with smiles😄Prices are higher than what I’m used to in other parts of Thailand, but pretty typical for vegan food on Samui. They have a large selection of food and big portions.

A very cute place and the staff was cute as well. They’ve got a big variation of dishes, from Thai to Mexican & European. We really enjoyed our time and the food here. We had the veggie curry fried rice, spaghetti had kee Mao, the summer rolls and a chocolate shake.

Great vegan food in Koh Samui - Edit
Cute little place, couple tables out back. Fun to find vegan food after a week of not great vegan options north of Phuket. Great menu. I got the tea leaf salad (quite a Thai spin!) and the fried bananas with ice cream. Beautiful plating! Very kind employees. They close early! 7pm. We arrived at 6:30 and stayed until about 7:20, unintentionally, and the staff were so kind and pretended like they didn't mind waiting for us. Definitely stop by and eat / drink if you're in the area!

After reading many recommendations here, I don't know what all the good reviews are about. First of all, let's start with the service, which was almost insulting. They didn't even say hello when we entered or look at us. We ordered 2 smoothie bowls that came like soup. One of them had a mosquito on the flower that came as a decoration (even if it's just a decoration and they take it out. It's my food. I'm not interested). The fruit wasn't fresh. To be honest, it feels like they really did us a favor by bringing us food. When we came to pay, we saw a lot of ants on the counter and it was sticky. In short, this is definitely our last time there and we highly do not recommend it.

Opted for a pineapple ginger shake and a vegan wrap using nori for a low carb version. Great cashew cheese filling with lots of veggies and greens. Comes with another dip and some pesto salad. Great place

Also want to point out the great prices. In comparison to other vegan/healthy cafes this one is very cheap
The terrace has a nice view into jungle. Though mosquito repellent is recommended

Seit ich den Thai ice tea with cocomilk getrunken habe, habe ich das Gefühl, im Leben zuvor etwas verpasst zu haben. Banana pancake waren gut. Leider hat das Brett oder das Besteck Zwiebelgeschmack mitgeliefert. Die Location ist traumschön, Stuff/ Service wirkte stark angespannt, was hier ungewöhnlich ist und darum negativ auffällt. Dennoch lohnt sich ein Besuch, den wir paar mal hinausgezögert hatten.

I've been regularly eating in this place for years, and it's one of the best vegan eateries on the whole island, which is much loved by the local vegan community. They offer lots of options in the menu, so everyone will find something to enjoy. My favourites are Mexican bowl, Falafel wrap, Papaya salad, and Passionfruit lassi for drinks.

I have been to Pure Vegan Heaven in Koh Phangan and it was heaven. Their food was delicious. This one in Samui did not have tasty food.

I tried some of my friends burrito and that was okay too.
