Not the best experience unfortunately - Edit
I wanted to love this place because it’s fully vegan and a one man band, but honestly, it made us unwell. I totally appreciate that it could be argued that this came from somewhere else but this was the first place we went to in Mauritius and we got ill within 12 hours. I’m pregnant so ended up needing to go to the hospital and it turns out it’s a contaminant that commonly causes diarrhoea/upset stomach here, so I definitely didn’t bring it from London. Unfortunately it managed to ruin a good chunk of our holiday though.

In hindsight, the place doesn’t look the most hygienic and we shouldn’t have eaten there but we were blinded by tiredness from the flight and hungry.
I’m in no way condemning this place - of course we could have made a mistake, but my suggestion would be to make your own judgement based on the cleanliness you see when/if you visit.

I never thought there would be such a great vegan restaurant in Mauritius. There was one guy working alone, so service was slow, but boy was the food delicous. Great value for money, too. I can highly recommend Pure Vegan Corner. My brother and I both loved it.

Nice to have an all vegan establishment close by to where we were staying so checked this place out for dinner one night, service was slow as there seemed to be only one person working which is understandable, not many options to choose from and a lot of the things they didn't have. We went for the philly tofu wrap and soba noodle stir fry. Noodles were okay, filled with some nice veg but not much flavour and my partners wrap was again okay but not much flavour. Decent value for money so if you are in the area might be worth checking it out for a bite.

Quite small with about 4 or 5 tables. I believe it was just the owner working when we visited so service was understandably slow. He provided us with a menu which crossed out what they didnt have and there was a whiteboard with specials. The only issue we had with this was that what we initially asked for (which wasnt cross out) they didnt have. And that one of the specials on the whiteboard was also out of stock. A solution to this would be to update the menu and whiteboard accordingly. We got the mushroom gyoza starter which was nice, the philly special tofu wrap which i thought was great! My partner got the soba noodle stir fry which lacked some flavour. But we are glad there is an all vegan spot near our hotel so we cant complain too much! I also got a passionfruit drink which was difficult to drink due to the seeds/pulp. It also came with a plastic straw which seemed the wrong move. There is a toilet which is outside the restaurant down an alleyway.

The menue is not really big but big enough to find something for everyone. The stuff ist really nice and I could add some Tofu to my dish. Everything is freshly made and my dish tasted very good

Great food, great customer service. - Edit
One of the few vegan restaurants in the area, so we were pleased to find it 6 mins drive from us. Great food and cocktails on both occasions. We had sushi, wontons, Phili sandwich… all good. They also made a delicious vegan birthday cake for my wife, a few days notice is required.

That was one of the very best vegan experiences I‘ve ever had. It’s a tiny cozy place with lovely people who are doing their job excellently! We go definitely again in the next days!

2nd time was even better! The menu was changed and we could try new typical Mauritian dishes. The owner especially made a leeche dessert for us. It was soooo good, everything! We have a couple of days left and will visit that place a third time!

Read moreEverything we ordered arrived with incredible presentation and the flavours were exquisite. The sushi was a stand out and would recommend everyone to try it. Also great that they offer dessert which was very tasty.
The staff/owners are clearly environmentally conscious and are both vegans themselves which is apparent with the amount of care and attention to detail whilst cooking.

A Vegan Must! 5 Stars - Edit
We had the weekend menu with Wonton Soup, Crazy Sushi Platter and the Sapor Pokebowl. After close to two weeks in Mauritius this was the most tasty vegan food we had on the island. They made it look so nice as well.
