Always a good choice - Edit
This is a great café for lunch or just a coffee stop. Regular menu items and daily specials are all delicious. Servings are large and the coffee is always prepared perfectly. The soup special a few days ago was lentil with feta. In fact, it was full of vegetables in addition to lentils. Served with a large slice of focaccia and salad, it was a very filling meal. Panini sandwich choices run along the lines of Portobello Mushroom & Provolone and Artichoke, Spinach & Asiago. There are also croissant sandwiches, lots of salads and an ever changing variety of other quiches, frittatas, scones, cookies and cakes.
Pros: delicious food, excellent coffee

Pure Vanilla is a treat. Perfect for lunch - their soups are always perfectly seasoned and balanced, their paninis are filled with gooey cheese and gourmet filling, their salads are huge and filling. Their baked goods are perfect. Everyone in my family has their favorite treat cookie. And their cakes are amazing.
Pros: excellent baked goods, lovely back patio, gourmet lunch selections
Cons: it can be hard to find a table at 12
