Good vegan buffet at a good price

A nice quiet vegan buffet. A fair amount of options, like others said. The only thing to add is now the buffet is 18 rmb...Still a good deal.

Excellent buffet

For only 16元, you get a choice of perhaps twenty or so dishes, including mock meats (bacon), vegetables, pastries, tofu dishes, soups, and a few kinds of rice. Can’t complain for the price, which was great for what was available. They also offer a hotpot option for around 30元. Lively atmosphere too - lots of locals seeming to rate it highly also.

Pros: Good variety of food, Excellent price, Nice atmosphere

A firm favourite, an instant classic

Lunchtime buffet for 15¥ per person.

Delicious array of veggies, tofu, soups, broths, cold dishes and breads.

For the more discerning tea drinkers there are tea experts upstairs in the dining hall ready to guide you through a tea ceremony.

Peaceful dining experience.

Pros: Everything

Cons: None

Best Food in Kunming

Very freindly stuff serving tasty food.
Fully Vegan Buffet for 15rmb (Lunch) or 16rmb (Dinner). More dished to choose from at lunch time. Health standards seem to be very high, espacially during corona virus times.
Big vatiety of dishes from simple salads and rice to main tofu and kidney bean dishes. Also serve sweet dumplings and pink date, bean rice (八宝饭) all very delicious.

You can also get typical dishes a la carte from Kunming in there "veganized" form, like DouHuaMiXian (豆花米线) or Bridge crossing noodles (过桥米线). Aswell as vegan dumplings, vegan mock meats or mock fish. Everything very tasty and reasonable prices

Pros: All vegan, Cheap, tasty buffet, Very high quality a la carte dishes

YUMMY vegan food for very affordable price

So glad that we were able to come to this vegan restaurant for dinner during our trip in 昆明。 We ordered the hot pots and spend a total of 60 yuan (equivalent to $5 US dollars for 2 hot pot soups plus access to all buffet dishes (cooked and raw).
At least 16 dishes and 25 raw veggies and plant based meats to choose from.
The soup broths were both delicious. We got hot/spicy one and mushroom one.
The staff is friendly and very helpful.
At the end of the meal, we even bought some vegan instant noodles for the road at their small grocery store (located on 2nd floor).
Love the informative pamphlets on the tables on veganism.

Pros: Cheap, Delicious food, friendly staff

Good vegan food

Found this place on Happy Cow Net. I had food from the self service buffet which was completely vegan. Communication was a bit difficult, as I speak only very little Chinese. They have at least one waitress who knows some English. I think apart from the buffet, you can have veggie hotpot. I am not sure they do anything else. Quality of the good was good and well-seasoned.

Cons: Communication is a bit difficult, but was ok in th

Pure Soul, Kunming

This place is excellent. I was there for breakfast just before the buffet opened at 11 am. My co diner and I each ordered a bowl of noodle soup for breakfast. The bowl we were each given was easily enough for 2 people, possibly three. In other words for two of us were given food that could have fed 4 - 6 people. The noodles were great as well they other things they gave us to throw in.

We took the uneaten food with us to eat on the train for the next step of our trip.

Pros: All vegan, Great food, big portions

New place!

I've been there once. The place just opened and it looks nice. Clean, nice decoration and spacious. The staff is friendly and the manager speaks english (nice guy). I know the cook there from another restaurant. He now works there and he is an amazing cook and very nice guy too. Thant's a plus for the restaurant.

They're still working on the menu so I didn't saw it. I was invited there so the dishes were already chosen. Everything was very good and everything was in big portions.

For lunch they have a 8 or 10kuai menu for home delivery. Very cheap and not that bad. It's good for a lazy day you don't feel like cooking or going out. (it also depends where you live). They also deliver normal dishes for dinner but it gets expensive.
If you live close to the place you should definitely go.

Pros: great food, nice place, friendly staff

Cons: just opened (no pics for menu yet)
