Back street surprise - Edit
Was in town for a few days and visited this little shop to find some mock meat goodness. It didn’t disappoint - came out with duck, calamari and whole fish, at pretty good prices. Lots of varieties of noodle, bean curd, dried seaweeds etc too. Friendly service with a smile!

Pure Land Health Food is a small heath food style shop run by Chinese vegetarian Buddhists ... they have a couple of fridges full of mock meat and heaps of dry vegetarian and vegan goods as well as a range of household and religious items ... a great little shop with really nice, helpfull staff

Great selection of Mock Meats - Edit
I visited Pure Land Health Food after hearing much about it from the local vegan group. It's definitely worth the visit for those in Toowoomba. There is a large selection of vegan mock meats (particularly Lamyong products), a range of tofu, Asian vegetables, and a few other useful products. The prices there are a bit on the high side, but since there's no other places that have such a good selection in Toowoomba, this is understandable.
