Two stars for variety only - Edit
I am giving 2 stars only for the number of GF and V options. Today was my first time going to Pure Cupcakes and I was encouraged by the reviews here. I got a chocolate cupcake with chocolate icing that was so hard and dry it tasted like it was 4-5 days old (yet I was still charged the full $5.50 price). Even the icing was really hard. The red velvet was not as dry but it didn’t really have any flavor. The chocolate orange and apple cupcakes were somewhat dry as well. Barely any chocolate in the orange chocolate. Lemon bar was inedible as it was the consistency of glue and tasted terrible. I hope they were just having a bad day and maybe there was a mix up with old cupcakes, but I definitely won’t be back.

Decent Cupcakes - Edit
I appreciate the number of vegan (and gluten-free) cupcakes and unique flavors. I am giving them 3 stars because I will give them the benefit of the doubt since I am not a huge sweets fan. With that being said, I am somewhat disappointed. I know Pure has great reviews for their vegan cupcakes on other platforms, and my boyfriend (non-veg) liked them significantly more than me; however, there were issues after tasting them all and finishing the cupcakes. The red velvet was my favorite, until I went to finish it and got this over whelming after taste (almost like the food dye was made from beets, which is great, but that taste is not so great). When trying to finish a whole cupcake and not just taste each one, I noticed some of the cakes were grainier and drier than I would expect, even if they are gluten-free, some flavors worse than others. Unfortunately, the cakes were ultimately the saving component.
Read moreI would still recommend giving these a try since I am picky about sweets, could have had a bad batch, and everyone has a different taste. However, I wouldn’t get a ton of one flavor unless you have had it before.

So many vegan cupcake flavors! - Edit
My husband and I are both vegan and he has celiacs, so the fact that their vegan cupcakes are also gluten free makes this place our top pick for birthday treats!
Read moreThe cupcakes are delicious, and there are tons of flavor options everytime we go. They had a lemon passionfruit flavor last time that blew my mind. A must try!
I feel like at a lot of bakeries with vegan options it's like, one flavor (usually just a typical chocolate) but I love their variety here.
Pros: Tons of vegan cupcake options, not just one flavor, Vegan options are also gluten free, Delicious food!

Pretty good - Edit
Not the best vegan cupcakes in the world but I would go again. Double chocolate was my favorite.
