AMAZING Vegan Italian Food - Edit
My boyfriend and I ate here and we were very impressed! The vegan food was so nice and fresh, and the serving sizes were huge! We ended up ordering way more food than we could actually eat. We definitely felt like we got a good value for the money that we spent there!
Read moreThe vegan Cesar salad was so delicious and the pizza was great as well! If you are into sweets, they have a nice dessert pizza! Make sure to check about reservations in advance because there were no tables when we arrived so we had to sit at the bar. The staff was very nice and quick and overall our experience was great!

I don’t know where to begin with all the fabulous food I’ve tried here. I’ll start with the Baked Ricotta on grilled ciabatta and mozzarella sticks for appetizers. You will live the Carbonara, twirling spaghetti in a macadamia romano cream with shiitake bacon. The Lasagna Pura is made with tender pasta layered with cashew ricotta, spinach and mushrooms with a flavorful marinara sauce. The pizzas are imaginative combinations, especially the Genarro pizza with peppers, onion, fennel and sausage crumbles. Make sure you save room for the heavenly tiramisu for dessert.

Incredible seafood and Italian food - Edit
I highly recommended the Linguine di Mare. If you’re like me and used to love eating seafood before becoming vegetarian or vegan, you will absolutely be amazed by the vegan scallops. The taste and texture is uncanny!

i've been here a handful of times and every time i go i'm amazed. some of my favorite dishes are the mozzarella sticks, black magic pizza, cesare salad, and the cacio e pepe! eating at this restaurant is a one of a kind experience for any vegan! their west hollywood location has a vegan tiramisu that i would recommend driving for. it's incredible! they're usually pretty busy so make sure to call ahead for a reservation!

This completely blew my mind! The pizza base is like straight out of the south of Italy!! Wow!! Incredible! And the parmesan macadamia nuts I’ve never tasted anything as amazing, plus the cashew mozzarella was so light and creamy! Hands down the best vegan pizza, maybe even pizza, I’ve ever had, and baby girl dated an Italian from Roma!

Spent the day in LA and because of all of the great reviews I decided to take a chance on this restaurant. The staff was suuuper friendly. We got the potato wedges to start, the white pizza, one of the salads (I can’t remember which), the nutella pancakes, and the carbonara pasta. For a vegan I’m relatively picky lol I don’t usually like vegan cheeses, I don’t like mushrooms, etc. The nutella in the pancakes LITERALLY tasted like the actual non vegan thing. You could 100% convince a nutella lover that it was the real thing (as expressed to me by a nutella lover who split them with me). I didn’t taste the pizza or salad, but the salad was big and looked hearty, and the dairy cheese lover of the group ended up eating half of the pizza, so I have to assume that the vegan cheese tasted authentic! The pasta was good, I was full from the pancakes so didn’t eat a ton of it, but the sauce was a good texture and it was easy to avoid the mushroom bacon if (like me) mushrooms aren’t your thing. I really hope if I ever go back to LA this place is open because I now want to try the entire menu 😂 It was also fairly priced I feel! The area can be a little pricey especially the all vegan joints, but I didn’t feel like I was paying any more than usual for what we ordered. We also got mimosas and the champagne was great! I didn’t double check if it was vegan or not, but I’m assuming it was, and I’m not a huge champagne fan and I thought it tasted good. ALSO the pistachio gelato was literally to die for it tasted so freaking good if you get nothing else make sure you get the gelato.

We had been told from a friend that Pura Vita rivaled Matthew Kenney when it comes to Italian food. They are right! We had pasta d'Mare and a pizza along with the Caesar salad and everything was amazing. Both the wheat and gluten free crusts are the best we have ever had. This is a must visit for anyone coming to West Hollywood.

Pura Vita is such a great spot. I live in the Bay and dreamed of going back since my first time there in May 2019. The only thing I've had that I didn't like was the tiramisu, but I'm spoiled by the heavenly tiramisu at The King's Feet in Berkeley. They post their daily specials on their Instagram account. They are very busy in the evenings and reservations are recommended if you want to dine in.

Our first visit to Pura Vita has us already planning our next. All vegan, everything from Tri Colori salad to antipasti to lasagne and dessert was superb. Service was warm, knowledgeable, and efficient. Trying their pies and the Redondo Beach new location before our vacation ends. Non mangieri animali indeed!

Absolutely incredible food and quality. This is top quality cuisine. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. How can something so simple like potato wedges be turned into a divine meal treating your tastebuds like royalty?! Idk, but they did it. The pizzas are absolute perfection. Although that’s technically Pura Vita Pizzeria I’m including it because it’s really the same place. Highly recommend this place. It’s definitely expensive, but if you just go as a special occasion treat it’s doable. The only downside was the outside seating in regards to it being WeHo so it’s very loud with all the traffic and the mix of car fumes and weed isn’t enjoyable, but that’s not the restaurants fault at all.

I got takeout from Pura Vita Pizzeria for my birthday. My husband and I split the wild arugula salad, a margherita pizza with mushrooms and artichokes, and a "Derose" white pizza. It was all fabulous. The crust was just perfect, as was the red sauce. It's a little pricey, but so worth it. 2 pizzas and a salad was enough for 2 hungry adults plus my lunch the next day.
