Nice food but quite expensive - Edit
This restaurant serves no meat at all :-). You can choose between a small vegetarian and vegan selection of seasonal salads and mainly burgers. Service is very helpful, they are open for special requests. The only downside: portions are quite small and expensive.

Es gibt eine große Auswahl an veganen Gerichten. Der vegane Frühstücksburger war sehr lecker! Ein Stern Abzug, da für Hafermilch ein Aufpreis beim Kaffee verlangt wird.

I'm sorry to say, but I need to be honest. We didn't got a hello or goodbye, we waited very long to order drinks and after that it took ages to order the food. The food took nearly a hour to be served. When we paid we didn't see the bill, I needed to ask to show me our bill. So in all the service was awful.

Went here today for a quick dinner. First the positive things: nice staff, food tasted good and the spot itself is really cute. Now the things I didn't like: the prices were extraordinary high for really tiny portions. The menu is giving high class dining but it is not enough for these type of costs. Especially when both of us weren't really full despite starter and main dish. All together we paid 82€ for two starters and two main dishes. One of the main dishes was a jackfruit burger without fries or anything. I liked the place but this was a frustrating experience. For the prices and due to the menu we expected way more to make the visit worth it. And last but not least: tables were super close to each other. This was annoying. You could hear every word of the neighbor's conversation.

Pura is a very hip restaurant in a pretty rural area at the Chiemsee.

The interior got my attention, it’s some kind of industrial, alternative retro style. I like it.
The spot is definitely on the pricey side.
A burger with stuff - salad, fries, dips can easily add up to over 20€, most starters ate around 8-10€, my main, a vegan pinsa was 17,50€.
But - it was delicious and really worth it! The toppings of pickled onion, vegan feta and pesto just hit the spot.

Von Service würde ich mehr Aufmerksamkeit erwarten. Z.B. eine Begrüßung wenn man das Lokal betritt, mehr Achtsamkeit, ob die Gäste bereit sind zu bestellen, nachfragen wie es schmeckt, ob etwas weiteres bestellt werden möchte und zum Abschied eine freundliche Verabschiedung.
Read moreWir drei (1 Omni 2 Veganer) empfanden das Lokal als viel zu eng bestuhlt. Daher war es unangenehm eng und laut. Auch als eine Kellnerin in den Kühlraum (?) direkt neben uns wollte, war das nur mit gequetsche möglich.
Auf der Karte habe ich mehr Auswahl zum Mittagessen erwartet, als 2 vegetarische Burger, 1 veganen Burger, 1 vegane Bowl vegane Pommes und Süßkartoffelpommes.
Tatsächlich fallen mir leider keine Vorteile dieses Restaurants ein.
Weitere Nachteile:
Essen teilweise ungewürzt und lieblos
Bescheidene Parksituation
Cons: Preis-Leistung teuer, Nur eine einzige Toilette für alle Gäste, Service desinteressiert

I went here for dinner with my family. At first we shared a plate with a little bit of everything, some things were kinda spicy which I couldn’t really handle haha but everything else was good! I had the avocado salad which was okay, but I also had some burgers and fries and those were amazing! So I’d definitely recommend those! The deserts were tasty too, the melon basil ice cream was my favorite😄

Nicht das typische Restaurant auf dem Dorf, dafür aber von allem etwas dabei und viel Variation. Schöne Atmosphäre und interessanter Einrichtungsstil. Teilweise war es etwas zu laut um sich zu unterhalten, aber bei der Größe vom Raum auch nicht verwunderlich😄

This restaurant offers great vegan food in an area where you hardly find something. We waited a while for your table that we reserved but got offered an aperitif on the house for that. Very thoughtful and it made up the waiting time.

First of all the place looks really nice and cozy with a mid-century modern/boho/contemporary mixed interior design. The place makes the toilets a location you want to spend time in.
Read moreHowever, the food that we had was plain bad. The paddy in the burger that we ordered was overcooked/burnt and fell apart. The sauce was extremely watery and from the 2 selected dressings you could taste precisely none.
The fries were good, although the portion varied a lot from plate to plate and the salad was very small.
All in all not worth the pricing for us.
I’d like to point out that the variety of food is really welcoming if you’re on a plant based diet.
Lastly the service was lacking, the personal was not very engaging and interested in our stay, they even added an extra Euro on the already generous tip which made the situation awfully weird.
If you’re starving and close by, check in to fill your stomach. However, if you’d like to go out and eat I’d advise you to look elsewhere.
