Some of the best vegan options for students - Edit
I have eaten from this place for all of my high school years. Their vegan selection is broad and delicious! Some food is on the healthier side, but still tastes good. It is a very affordable option for eating out, even if their restaurant is used more for takeaway. The owner is very nice, but I think that the religious items might turn some people away.

Cons: Not everything is vegan, Sometimes the falafel is a bit oily

Daily vegan menu and bakery - Edit
Pur & Simplu offers a daily changing menu, which can be found on their Facebook page. I had a menu consisting of a broccoli soup with home-made croutons and a bell pepper stew with a whole-wheat bun (chiflă). As a desert, I got a berry-vanilla cupcake. There is a great assortiment of freshly baked goods. I therefore couldn't withstand buying a piece of fresh apple cake as takeaway! The find is simple, but tasty and resembles Romanian cuisine (in contrast to the many 'hip' junk food bars one might find in Bucharest, or other big cities).
Read moreYou can order the menu as takeaway, but the restaurant also offers some seated places in a cosily decorated interior. Definitely recommend!
Pros: Great assortiment of vegan pastries and cake, Cosy place, Inexpensive
Cons: Food is a bit too greasy (too much oil)

Speechless - Edit
Was in Constanta almost by mistake and had a feeling I had to drop by this place. The lady was soooo nice and explained all they had. All vegan, savoury, sweets, biscuit, cakes... I picked loads of stuff and when it came to pay, she told me I could have it for free!?! Not saying this will happen to you too, I'm pretty funny and awesome, but says a lot about the owner. And the food was great!!! An absolute must if you're in Constanta.

Romanian food - Edit
Found this place while staying in nearby Mamaia and was thrilled to see that they have vegan traditional Romanian cuisine! There is a daily menu with soup, main and dessert that we tried which was delicious. As far as I could see, most things there was vegan.
