Great variety and a friendly host - Edit
The restaurant is only open on weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) but we made sure to come back for dinner every night it was open. The food is delicious and lovingly prepared. The owner took the time to chat with us and get to know our family.
Read moreWe tried almost everything on the menu and it was all very good. Some of the weekly specials sold out before Sunday, so jump on them early if you're interested.

A Must Visit for All Vegans and Vegetarians! - Edit
By far the best location in Huatulco for delicious vegan and vegetarian food! Mostly vegan with ample vegetarian options (most of which can be served 100% vegan too). In addition to an always available menu of delicious falafel, traditional Italian pastas and salads, and a choose-your-own-ingredients wok noodle stir fry, the expert Italian chef-owner Giordana offers weekly specials which are always delicious and priced fairly, drawing on her Italian background. The best place in town for felafel hands down! They are served (6 fried balls) with homemade pita breads (2), cucumber yogurt sauce, a fresh lettuce tomato salad, shredded beets and carrots and a spicy sauce and you roll them up yourself according to your preference (I suggest ordering with a side of homemade tahini too!). You'll want to visit several times during your visit once you try the food!

Pros: Best felafel in town and delicious menu variety, Great prices and casual setting, Giordana is a treasure to meet!
Cons: Only opens Fri, Sat and Sun (the weekend)., Small seating area (3 tables) but food to go too., Not a "fancy" setting, but hey it's a beach town!

This gem of a restaurant has every imaginable vegan food you could want. We ordered 3 dishes: chickpea steak, tofu Mediterranean and cannellini with mushrooms ate it all!

Home cooking at its finest - Edit
Giordana is an incredible cook and great conversational partner. Her stories about Mexico are an added value to the meal.

The cuisine is not Mexican and on the menu you will find
1) Wok noodles (we didn’t try them)
2) Falafel (that was great, way better than many I ate back in Europe)
Additionally on the menu you find 7 or 8 different dishes hanging daily.
Everything can be vegan or vegetarian.
When we went there were only 2 tables. We ended up eating communal style with other guests (which we loved cause they had very interesting stories and the conversations were pleasant)
For sure coming back to see Giordana and eat at her restaurant next time we are in Huatulco.

Vegan culinary delight! - Edit
You don’t have to be vegan to appreciate the incredible dishes created here. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. It’s an intimate setting with limited tables so be sure to call ahead if you can. I was blown away that we found this lovely little restaurant and our only regret is not having more days in Huatulco to enjoy more meals here.

Modest and homey spot, unassuming courtyard shared with a “lavanderia.” The food was surprisingly delicious, and the owner - Giordana, is unforgettably charming and real. Loved eating her food. Great service. All vegan menu.

Wok & falafel - Edit
Un emprendimiento muy bonito. El local es pequeño por lo cual, no muy llamativo. La comida es deliciosa: el wok de vegetales es delicioso y el falafel es de otro planeta. Los vegetales son frescos, el pan es casero, las porciones son bastante grandes y el precio accesible. Los espacios y utensilios de la comida vegana están separados de aquellos para el resto de la comida.
