Very nice! - Edit

Good food, all vegan. There're many interesting choices, including set menus. Quick and friendly service. Cosy atmosphere. We had quinoa burger and plate of the day, which both were delightful. Coconut lemon pie, cookies, and ice cream are yummy too! Could be packed, so reservation might be a good idea.

Pros: Great all vegan food, Friendly service , Reasonable price

A pleasant café - Edit

I visited this place only for having a cup of tea and a dessert but it was enough to make a great impression. I tried both of the cakes, the coconut-lemon tart and the pumpkin cake with raisins. Both of them are more than recommendable. There is also a wide offer of teas.

The decoration is nice, as well as the service.

Pros: elegant, affordable

Cons: opening hours, far from the city center

Buena comida y buen trato - Edit

Charming & inviting! - Edit

Punto Vegano is a darling vegan restaurant. The decor is so charming and sweet! The food was also delicious. I had the quinoa burger with a salad and the patatas bravas for a starter. I really enjoyed the clean & healthy taste without sacrificing delicious flavor. I really love and appreciate places like this! The server was super nice and although I do not speak Spanish well, was very accommodating and patient. I will be back when I get the chance!

Delicious tapas - Edit

This place is small, so I'd recommend booking. It's also close to Temple de Bod, if you wish to combine a visit as we did. We went in the evening, when they serve main dishes or tapas. We shared four tapas dishes and enjoyed a good glass of wine too.
The patatas bravas were crispy and delicious, especially with some alioli squeezed on too. The fried ravioli had a good texture, but weren't as flavoursome as we'd like. The quinoa meatballs were sensational though, packed with flavour. The babaganoush was also excellent.
Service was fast and friendly - there are English menus, and at least one staff member spoke English. We also got some chocolate muffins to take away, and they were lovely too. Recommended!

Pros: Excellent tapas, Nice atmosphere, Great service

cute place, delicious food - Edit

This is a fairly small place, with maybe 7 or 8 tables, but the atmosphere is very positive and cozy. Everything on the menu is vegan, which is always a pleasure to find in Madrid! I had the quinoa burger which had lettuce, vegan cheese, veggies, garlic mayonnaise, and tomato with a side of French fries. It was SO TASTY and even came with a lemonade to drink. All of this for 8,50. I tried the pumpkin cake for dessert, which was divine. My friend ordered the mango sorbet and was equally impressed. I paid 11€ and left feeling very satisfied! The service was great, the owners are friendly and warm and the food is good at the right price... What's not to love!

Pros: English menu

Cons: only open Thursday-Sunday

Good food, cozy place, friendly atmosphere - Edit

Offers daily menu as well as à la carte. All the food is delicious and many dishes are perfect to share in a very Spanish tapas style. Good selection of beers.
Their fresh home made ravioli (Thursday and Sunday for lunch) are delicious and famous, so make sure you reserve your portion, not only your table...
Don't miss the home made hummus and babaganoush. Try the home made quinoa burger. And the lemon-coconut pie. And...

Pros: Food quality, Friendly atmosphere, Cozy place

Cons: Service is a little slow

Boa escolha - Edit

Nice surprise! - Edit

We really enjoyed our meal in this restaurant with friendly staff and nice atmosphere. The waitress recommended us home made burgers which was a great choice. The price was really great for such a great meal including a home made lemonade. And the dessert was DELICIOUS and also really cheap.
I visited this place with my non vegan friend and he said "With such food it is easy to be vegan."

Friendly café with great service and nice atmosphere. We had a really nice Moussaka and some cakes for dessert. Perfect location after a long walk through Casa de Campo and a gondola ride back to the city.

Amazing service - Edit

I felt instantly welcome, the people who run it are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make you comfortable. The restaurant's bright and clean. They have English menus and wifi. The menu's a bit small. I got the quinoa burger with a side salad (also came with lemonade) which was pretty good, but the chocolate muffin I had for dessert was seriously INCREDIBLE. Man oh man I just wanted to eat all the desserts.

A must for vegans and everybody else - Edit

This is for sure one of my favourite places in Madrid, for either lunch, dinner, or just a good coffee and cakes. The coco cake is outstanding. 200% recommended!

Pros: Great quality, Price, All vegan and tasty!

Cons: Nothing

sunday delight - Edit

We arrived in Punto Vegano as previous reviewers suggested: on Sunday to try their famous homemade spinach ravioli in tomato sauce. And, true, none of above praises are overstated. The filling is generous, very clean taste of spinach, pasta is soft and melt in your mouth as you eat and the sauce is great, full of flavour, tangy, sweet and very light too. We were suprised how light it was, they use very little olive oil which for us was a huge advantage. We started our meal with croqettes which were delightful and ended it with fantastic coconut&lemon tarte. Definately worth to come again

Pros: excellent food, friendly staff, good portions

Cons: none

Cute homemade vegan restaurant - Edit

Near Templo de Debod park, this is a small, honest, homemade vegan restaurant. Friendly staff, cheap and nice food.
It is even possible to order your food to take away and have your lunch at the park.

Pros: Nice food , Friendly staff, Cheap

So tasty! - Edit

We had one night in Madrid and chose Punto Vegano to have dinner at because of the great reviews. And it definitely lived up to expectations. Had both the burgers and the Crouquettes with Beer and Homemade Lemonade and ice cream for desert. Everything seems to be homemade in the shop and all drinks are organic and vegan. Very fair price for quality of food (we paid 35 euros for everything). On top of it all the place itself is very comfortable and cute and smelt like fresh baked cookies! :)

Nice, cozy, inexpensive - Edit

It took me some time to find the place, so I arrived just in time to grab some cake (which was totally delicious!) and have a chat with the very nice couple who run this place. The next day I returned and tried the ravioli, and they were totally awesome. You also get free lemonade to your dishes. Very nice atmosphere, next time I´m in Madrid I´m definitely coming back to try the burgers!

good vegan cusine - Edit

We went too tree times during our stay in madrid and we found everything very tasty and well presented, especially the desserts. The place is quiet with a warm and young atmosphere. Worth the visit.

Not quite a restaurant, but fine nonetheless - Edit

I stopped by this brand-new business (just four months in existence) after having had some food elsewhere. I wasn´t particularly hungry but I felt I owed them my support. I would have wanted to try some special chickpea-based omelette whose name I have forgotten, but unfortunately they were out of it. Instead I had some "meatballs" made of quinoa and oats, which I found tasty. I also had a piece of some lemon and coconut type of cheesecake, which could well have been raw, at a mere 2 euro. It was certainly value for your money. The super friendly waitress also served a complimentary "lemonade", but it was actually made of powder. Not a gourmet experience in any way, shape or form, but obviously I´m glad places such as Punto Vegano exist.

Ahora bien, si me he colado lo retiro :-)

friendly, nice and quiet - Edit

I tried sausages, hummus, potatoes salad "ensaladilla rusa", vegan-meatballs and croquettes.

For me vegan-meatballs was the best dish, but croquettes were also good.

Nice place and very friendly people.

Excellent home made food - Edit

This a new small café / restaurant very near Templo de Debod in Madrid. I went on a Sunday and had the home made ravioli, which were delicious. There were not many things on the menu, but everything else we had was very good (hummus, croquetas, limon & coconut cake, and a chocolate cookie).

Very friendly and helpful staff.

Prices are reasonable

Pros: Very good food, Friendly staff, Reasonable prices

So tasty and very friendly! - Edit

I've tried all the vegans and most vegetarians in Madrid and I was really impressed by this place! It's light, cozy, nicely decorated and has pleasant music playing. The hummus starter was very good as well as the chickpea galettes (though they would have been nicer with a sauce or dip of some kind); the ravioli main (only on certain days) was really delicious, I've never had nice such nice homely vegan raviolis, great texture, great filling and great bolognese. Other tables had burgers which looked big and tasty. I ended up having two desserts: the coconut/lemon/almond cake, which also had a great texture and a nice taste, just right on the sweetness; and the torrija (which tasted like French toast in a rum sauce and was perfectly moist). I even took some cake home for friends. Oh and the lemonade (you can choose with or without sugar) was very nice, I also appreciated being offered a refill with my dessert. The people there were lovely and attentive. Be aware that you may not have as much choice around dinner time, although we were lucky to have some raviolis left.

This is great value for money. I can't wait to go back!

Pros: Great food, Inexpensive, Awesome desserts

Cons: Probably more choices at luncthime

a delight (: - Edit

After a 12 hour flight I went to have lunch at this restaurant. I wasn't disappointed (:

First: it's a really nice location with tranquil music (perfect for a tired day).

Secondly: the food tasted really good and wasn't greasy at all (croquetas are usually deep fried). Staff was also very friendly. Good price!

I had the veggie croquetas, quinoa burger with salad and vanilla ice-cream for dessert. Yeah, a lot haha. But I was craving some nice food after so many hours of airplane/airport food :P

Pros: quinoa paddy , veganesa sauce ("mayonesa vegana"), location

Amazing ravioli on Sundays - Edit

Really, really nice vegan restaurant serving an inexpensive daily special menu (7,50€ on working days, 8,50€ on weekends). On Sundays they cook some delicious spinach ravioli with bolognese, don't miss it! Apart from that, the menu includes 6-8 starters (hummus, croquettes, etc.) and a few vegan burgers/sandwiches.
