Can't believe the reviews - Edit
What a disappointment. Sign says "Vegan Menu", but when I ask for it, I am pointed to a white board which doesn't specify which items are vegan. Very little English is spoken. Ordering was extremely frustrating. How could they improve? Put their menu in writing. We tried three items, one was too spicy, one was too salty, one included cold vegetables on the side. We ate very little, threw most of the food away.

Delicious - Edit
You know how they say the sketchier the outside, the more delicious? This fits the bill! Specify dairy free and they will direct you! I had dal tadka! Super delicious!

Don’t let the appearance of this place scare you - Edit
We almost didn’t go in. It’s behind a truckstop and shares space with a truck repair garage. It’s run by Punjabi people which is northern India. And it looks scary from the outside end it’s not much better on the inside. But don’t be discouraged. Their English is not great, but if you say Vegan they will point to the first four menu items on the handwritten chalkboard. I was a little surprised when the food came out right away, but I’m telling you this is some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Extremely tasty and authentic. For a quick stop on the way through town, if you’re vegan, then this is the place for you. It has a truckstop feel on the inside as well, folding tables and chairs from Home Depot or someplace like that. We are pleasantly surprise at how tasty the food is! I should have known when I saw the nice old ladies in the kitchen. Give it a try!

Great vegan option in desert - Edit
This Punjabi “dhaba” is a roadside Indian food place just east of Kingman, AZ. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They do not use ghee. 4 vegan options available every day. It was super tasty and fresh.

Went back for more. There is a breakfast paratha, stuffed bread. Inside spicy potato, onion and herbs. Order without the yogurt dip and it’s vegan. Absolutely delicious. The oil is oil not ghee.
