Amazing vegan place - Edit
This place offers multiple delicious options. We actually went twice in one week to try more of them. They have different starter plates which are perfect to share. We tried several main courses and all were really good. Tables are outside in a quiet street. Service was very nice.

We shared the starter Meze board (recommended for 2), but it could also be the main for one. Pulse has heaps of different mains, which were all reasonably priced and filling!

Seriously, if you are in or near Chania and want really, really good food, go here. If you want it to be 100% plant-based, you've hit the jackpot. If you're traveling with someone who doesn't do that green thing, don't worry; they will love it. Really nice service, Susanna (I hope I spelled your name right) and team are super friendly - and she's is clearly inspired to make delicious food. Maybe it is a combination of the location in old town Chania near the water (but away from the tourist-heavt areas) AND the great food. But we think this maybe the best mainstream vegan restaurant we have ever visited. We ate here with our two sons, 16 and 21 - *everyone* is asking to go back - and we are going back.

I've eaten at many vegan places in many countries, but the Mezze platter #1 absolutely blew my mind, filled with a large assortment of absolutely delicious preparations, enough for 2, and very reasonably priced ... And such a gorgeous location as well!

You know when people ask you....so you went to Greece but you couldn't try moussaka right? Wroooong. I think their moussaka would even beat the traditional version. Table next to us ordered the meze platter and it looked delicious. It was 30° though, so we kept it easy

I want to drive through the whole island again to have the moussaka. Super fresh and tasty. Menu looks amazing, we only had space in the stomach for little food so we shared salad and moussaka, but the menu has so many tempting options! Lovely place.

Les mezze sont excellents. Mention au houmous servi avec de bons légumes rôtis.

One of the best places we ate during our trip in Crete. This was the only all vegan restaurant in Chania and the options were amazing. Make sure you order the chocolate smoothie! The vibes at this place were also really nice, close to the water and not on the main path so it was away from the crowds. One hundred percent recommend!

100 % vegan! I wanted to taste some umami flavor so I ordered "pulse mushroom special" . I can recommend, the portion was really large and I had difficulty to finish😜I set on the garden I enjoyed the view to the sea. The staff was super friendly. I got an extra treat - delicious frozen cookie! And they also treat you with the bottle of water for free.

Wow! What an amazing evening. We had the shared starters (see photo) so filling and 2 mains (see photo) with .5L red wine it was all so good. We couldn't finish the main as the portions are so generous left 5% 😁 And to top it off 2 complementary chocolate brownies that were out of this world the taste was delicious. No rush place very relaxing nice setting old town. The owner serving us was so down to earth so efficient so full of life very polite very nice. Altogether costs €41.50 a bargain. Definitely going back.

Visited twice whilst on holiday in Crete. Each time, every single course and the drinks were impeccable. On our first visit we had the shared platter for 2 which we found very generous and difficult to pick a favourite from it, a salad and the meatballs certainly stood out. For mains I had the ravioli with mushrooms and hubby had the moussaka, both perfectly seasoned and full of flavour. Second time we skipped the starters and had the mushrooms with barley, again, impeccably seasoned and super tasty and hubby went for the same awesome moussaka. This time we had room for dessert and indulged in the berry cheesecake and apple crumble, both 10 out of 10 and very generous in size! This place is a must for vegans and non vegans!

Read moreWe had bread with zaziki, beetroot carpaccio and the polenta with pesto (highly recommended!!) and i ordered the vegan Moussaka, my friend said it didn't taste like Moussaka, i guess i will never know but i loved it anyways! Everything was so delicious. Plus the owner was so lovely and diligent.
