I love how the menu had v options. I got the Fries guy: Fries topped with BBQ jackfruit, vegan cheddar cheese, roasted jalapeño aioli, red onion. They have a black bean burger, garlic hummus, Bavarian soft pretzel sticks, and Jack of all trades. The mocktails are amazingly good. I ordered the pomegranate soda.

Great spot & vegan chef! - Edit
I've been coming here more often since I learned the chef is vegan and has added more options. The chef also adds vegan options that aren't listed on the menu, like a vegan jalapeno aoli to put on the veggie burger.

Highly recommend asking your server for additional vegan options or sauces than what's listed on the menu.
Also Wednesdays are half priced burgers!

I enjoy going here on a nice day to sit in the Beer Garden with friends, my dog, my spouse.They have some vegan options, and GF options for my spouse as well.
Read moreBridgeport is not a super vegan friendly town. There are 5 pizza places, and none of them have vegan options on their menu/clearly marked. But Puddlers does!
Even indoors, it has a nice atmosphere. I love the opportunity to support a local business.
An added bonus is Frosty Falls, the ice cream shop across the street, also has chocolate & vanilla vegan ice cream, and a vegan brownie Sundae!
On a balmy summer evening, getting a drink and a meal in the Beer Garden, with the river breeze blowing and the sun sparkling on the water, then just walking across the street for dessert is so lovely.
Pros: Beautiful river views in Beer garden, Ice cream across thed street, craft beer
Cons: more vegetarian than vegan options
