Incredibly good service in spite of vegan gyros out of stock - Edit
Was disappointed to find out only after ordering that the vegan gyros were out of stock. But we had an amazing, affable, and attentive waiter, who calmly offered us ones with falafels instead of vegan meat. Still tasted delicious and saucy, and the “coldest beer in all of Greece” (Mythos served in a frozen mug) went down a treat too.

Pros: Falafel gyros not a bad alternative to vegan meat, Some of the best service we had on Kefalonia, “The coldest beer in all of Greece”
Cons: Vegan gyros/meat was out of stock at the time

I ordered vegan gyro (a plate with pita, hummus, tomatoes, onion and bean "meat"). Really tasty. All with a sea view. I recommend it!

So tasty! - Edit
They have a whole vegan section on the menu. The waiter was so nice and explained the different gyros options. It was lovely to have dinner by the water front. The portions were huge! We had the vegan giant gyros and it was so cheap for the size.

Wouldn't go again, so expensive - Edit
Had high hopes but unfortunately they weren't met. We were only customers, sat on sea front (beautiful spot) and our server was really friendly and helpful but firstly the food & drinks took AGES to come out. Secondly we asked for a greek salad without the feta, so it was just a small portion of tomato, cucumber & onion with 4 olives & we were charged 9.50€!! We ordered the vegan pizza which was so expensive at 19€, it was a small regular sized pizza and was tasteless and toppings were sparse and very crunchy & overcooked. 2 lemonades which were litrally lemons squeezed in a glass & a bottle of water. 42€!!!!!!
Read moreAwful prices & bland tasteless food. Would never go again!
Pros: Nice location & views, Our served was lovely
Cons: Slow served when empty, Bland food , Overpriced & small portions

Vegan cheese is not stringy - Edit
Ordered a vegan Pizza and it arrived with none dairy cheese, didn't kick up a stink because if they could do that then I don't really think they k ow what veganism is. €19 for a pizza also, deffo not worth the money. would not recommend

I don’t understand this post. Vegan cheese can be stringy. Sounds like you didn’t check with them and might have found a good brand 🤷

Megas - Edit
Has dedicated vegan section, some of the stuff is quite expensive.
Read moreWent for the Vegetable burger, which was €4.50. The vegetable burger comes in a pitta, not an actual burger (which I preferred anyway!)
The patty they use is similar to a beyond meat patty you’d get at the shop. It’s cooked well and is succulent.
Served in a wrap with hummous, chips and some salad.
Pros: Decent vegan options , Good burger patty
Cons: Other options very expensive

Great to see some vegan alternatives - Edit
As much as I loved the fresh fruit and veg all over the island, it was a welcome sight to see some alternatives. There’s a separate section on the menu for Vegans. The food is great and the gentleman that served us was friendly. We did order the burger but got the pitta and had to double check it was the vegan version as it tasted very like meat. Were reassured it was. Hope it was! It’s also a great place to sit by the water and watch the turtles pop up for air.

We had the vegan gyros. It tasted very good and was appetizingly served, the view directly on the water was fantastic and the service very friendly. We would definitely come again.

Lovely spot for gyros - Edit
The older gentleman serving us was lovely, spoke English well and knew straight away what they could provide with us being vegan. Perfectly portioned and really tasty gyros right next to the waterside. If you're lucky you'll spot a turtle while you dine. There could be a wider vegan selection, but it was nice just to have the separate vegan section on the menu.

Sept 2021 update
Read moreBurger now comes in a pita bread for €4, and they have started using frozen chips
After a week of beautiful vegetable based meals I was craving something a little different, I had the gyros (a good size portion) and my partner the burger.
The gyros could of done with some more seasonings, I added some lemon juice to bring out the flavour. I would probably give it a 7/10.
I had a bite of the burger again it wasn’t bad with vegan cheese and “burger” dressing (which we were assured by the young waiter was vegan) the flavours worked well.
Both dishes were served with hand cut chips and salad.
My only down side really was the price both meals with a couple of large beers was almost €30, so quite expensive, no complaints though I knew this before sitting down.

Delicious vegan gyros - Edit
Great to try a vegan version of a traditional Greek dish - very tasty. Sea turtles frequent the harbour area and often swim by the waterfront seating which is an added bonus!

Food delicious, large portions - Edit
Nothing labeled vegan, not all staff speak English but they were accommodating and allowed me to add some mushrooms in white wine to my grilled veg as I was not having the cheese on it.
